slough_rover Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Would fat Sam have this side 3 nil up at half time away from home? Like hell he would have. I dont necessarily agree with Kean as gaffer but atleast he has shown that this sidr can play football unlike the crap served under Sam.

Is this the right time to re-introduce this topic for the bazillionth time? enjoy the afternoon, dude
The Dart Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Personally I would like Wolves to stay up because of Mick McCarthy and also we're playing them so it seems fair, and Blackpool because they did so well for so long.
jim mk2 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Let's finish this off and come monday start cleaning out our closet of all the unnecessary junk! Starting with the manager ? Like the past few matches sounds as though the players have taken charge and reverted to Sam's tried and trusted tactics.

slough_rover Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 If Sam was still in charge we wouldnt be in this mess The point wasnt about our position but rather the quality of football in show. I attended a few away games with him in charge and I kid you not I have seen lower league teams play with more substance than the dross tactics he employed on our travels. Highest percentage of long balls attempted and lowest percentage of long balls sucessfully completed is what we had to put up with.
blue/white Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 nicely taken free kick. brillantly taken for a change.... squeaky bum time again.......
slough_rover Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Anyway lets not give them a sniff of getting another goal!
Slinky Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 The second half is looking as one-sided as the first - just this time for Wolves. Just saw United have re-taken the league - fingers crossed for Blackpool too!
Gav Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I was looking on twitter earlier and the general from people who want us to be relegated is that we play "anti-football". Not because of our owners. Clearly not watching our game, they probably still think Stoke are a long ball team. Hoilett 5yr contract ASAP please

The first rule to judge the quality of football played is the results it produces. Everything else comes secondary, especially when you're on a limited budget. Anyway, superb performance by Rovers today.
Finch Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 This is like musical chairs. BPool and Brum are in the bottom 3. Wigan and Wolves are safe. It's all about who will be below the line when the final whistle blows
Majiball Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Soft foul and shocking defending. Kean now you need to make decisions Wolves we come for our throats now and as always we are struggling as we cannot play 90 minutes. Time to take a striker off and stick an extra man in the middle.
Finch Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Wigan are ahead. Brum have equalised. Am losing track. BPool and Wolves in bottom three. Brum and Wigan safe
blue/white Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Holy cow Seconded! Am I missing something??? why Jr???? will Kean ever learn ?!!?!?!?
