BPF Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Shearer expects us to get relegated on Saturday. He really did have a big fall out with us didn't he?
whittle blue Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Shearer expects us to get relegated on Saturday. He really did have a big fall out with us didn't he? Eh????????
chocky Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Shearer expects us to get relegated on Saturday. He really did have a big fall out with us didn't he? What??...Shearer never said that and seemed happy we would stay up..And it's Sunday.
chris Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 He meant the OTHER Shearer. Sheeesh. That's a waxwork not a clone
Guest roverite1991 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 If that looks like Shearer then I look like Freddy Kreuger! Oh wait.....
Mike Graham Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I hear that Roque Santa Cruz is to be exhibited at the Blackpool Waxworks. They can't be bothered waiting for a wax image and reckon the live version will be just as effective...no-one will be able to tell the difference.
BPF Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 He expects BLACKPOOL to go down NOT BRFC Apologies, I'd heard different.
Plastic Head Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Shearers waxwork would be better than Keef. ...and would have better ball control than Roberts.
blue_and_white Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Didn't really look like him but nice to see the best player in english football in the last 20 years getting a bit of recognition. Makes a change from the MOTD showing him make a failed attempt at a tackle as that vastly over-rated idiot Cantona scores a fake goal against us.
Mattyblue Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Yeah he's more wooden than the infamous fence he was creosoting, but what a fantastic player he was for us. Absolute monster of a striker.
Andy Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 staying up That's some great comments from our greatest ever forward. I'm sure some people think he has some kind of grudge/agenda against Rovers - well, it's nice to read that he still thinks a lot of our club.
Wilky Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 I just can't knock shearer no matter what he says about Rovers... in fair we are a laughing stock so he's going to go with what's good for tv.. he scored a lot of goals for us, loved his time at Rovers, helped us win the prem and had the best of his career at Rovers.... a true legend to me ......

Exactly how I feel. Can never believe my ears when some fans slate him. Absolute legend.
den Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Exactly how I feel. Can never believe my ears when some fans slate him. Absolute legend. Stop putting these videos on here B&W. Breaks my heart. To think where we are now.
Paul Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Oh how lucky we were to see those games.............................
CrazyIvan Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Those years were golden. To see where we are now and where we've been... To those who say it'll never happen again. It will. It might take a few years but a team will win this league without spending billions. Let's hope (and dream) it's Rovers... again...
blue_and_white Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Stop putting these videos on here B&W. Breaks my heart. To think where we are now. Sorry! Love the bit on 0:49 where the keeper just turns round with this expression of "What the...".
rover_groo Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Some great memories of Big Al playing for you and banging in the goals. Met him a few times and have to say, what a gentleman he is. However, in all my games going to Rovers, the bugger never scored for Rovers, only Newcastle.
