To be quite honest mum, i couldn`t give a flying #### what you think or don`t think. Your opinion does not interest me. You do not run my household, pay my bills or work for my wage, so you cannot tell me where to spend it.

Cletus, and any others affected, I apologise, I did not mean to presume - see the last line of my post which you may not have read. Unfortunately some posters do tend to wind me up a bit and that post was the result. Blackburn Rovers means a great deal to me and my family and that will not change whatever the circumstances.

I wouldn't dream of telling anyone else how to spend their money, and I did think long and hard about whether to renew my ticket, because there are plenty of other demands on my cash, but not to renew if I could afford it wasn't an option. I didn't rush out and do it first day possible like some did but I did it with the full agreement of my family, as we all felt that we would not be driven out of supporting our club by anyone.

Gumboots puts it far better than I did. Well said that lady!

Me and a mate are getting a season ticket this year. Just wondering when the seast that weren't claimed by season ticket holders will be available? As at the moment the online site says that the BBE and DE are sold out. Thanks.

Yet you question whether I am a supporter and have the temerity to call yourself a supporter!!!! I've paid thousands out supporting BRFC over the years. I spent a bloody grand in Cardiff alone in taking the entire family to the Worthy Cup Final ffs! Ditto trailing across Europe on a number of occasions! Have you been to Europe with BRFC btw? Did you take the family to Cardiff even? How about Wembley in 87, 91 and 94? How about you imy?

Tell you what you take my ST in the JW upper inner. Just buy it... you don't need to go at all and then I will call you a proper supporter. Even better why don't you half it with that other massive BRFC fan from afar imy9? Personally I think the thought of parting with 200 quid each will have you both diving for cover.

I'd wager that Rovers have better supporters in Burnley than you two.

I've seen us plenty, unfortunately usually when playing away.

You're a sanctimonious old git sometimes. I don't doubt you've spent loads on the Rovers(even though your posts smack of parsimony..)however,what pi$$es me off is your call to arms regarding other supporters to not renew.

Pointless and counter-productive however you might try and spin it.

By the way..if all I had to consider was the £200 cost of a season ticket I'd be there before you..add on travel, family committments, potential loss of wages the real cost is much more than a measly £200 and isn't merely financial.

Ticket office staff this morning claiming around 11,000 ST's sold so far, which aint too bad considering the lack of a quality incoming transfer or two.

But it's kinda like saying that a full 300 seater plane crashed and celebrating the fact that 56 survived.

7000 to go to reach last seasons figure....

Plenty of time yet, providing they get their arses into gear, get on their game, and recruit the quality or claibre of player thats needed to achieve their goal.

That sounds terrible to me.

Quote imy9

"Cost of wages doubled do, as did other things. That £3 million was deemed no longer necessary for the club andw as taken away, did we need it, I think you'll agree we did.btw"

You speak of the hypocrisy of John Williams (some even say you call him a liar) yet on the same page you whinge about other people not putting money into BRFC. Yet by your own admission you yourself have put the square root of sweet FA into the club. It's you who are the hypocrite here imy.

imy9 you say you have never had a ST .... have you ever even been to Ewood Park to see the Rovers play?

You need to read things with a little more care. I have never purchased a season ticket but that does not mean that a) I have never been to Ewood or B) that I dont spend money on my team in a variety of other ways. People can spend their money in whichever they like (I did say that at the end of a post), nor have I whinged about people not putting money into Rovers, I merely stated that given the option I would always buy a season ticket.

Oh yeah another thing I said the hypocrisy of posters and gave JW as an example- I did not speak of the hypocrisy of JW-

Wow I mean wow, you know nothing about me or Yeti yet are judging our qualities as fans. I will say again if I had the option I would buy a season ticket every season without fail.

I think, correct me if I am wrong, he is from Birmingham and is a full time teacher.

Regardless, you don't need to attend every game to be classed as a proper fan.

Correct, also have four young kids and elderly parents to look after. I do attend games but mostly away games, very rarely have I got the time to go to Ewood, regardless as I said earlier the club gets money from me in a variety of ways.

I renewed mine and my younger brother's a few weeks back. Cannot say I am too happy with all the news of the transfers (or lack of), but football is my hobby. Going to the football on a Saturday afternoon is quite usually the highlight of the week. To me going to Rovers isn't just about the game - but the whole day spent with my mates.

I understand that requests for seat transfers from previous season ticket holders are being sorted out this week, then all seats left will be on general sale.

Indeed, for some it's solely about the 90 minutes of action, for me it's as much about the day out as well.

Very good yeti dog. Unfortunately that only helps our rivals as BRFC gets sweet FA from your outlay on away games.

Alternatively I could have said the same as you..... 'Disgraceful! Call yourself a supporter?'.

18th July.. I phoned up and asked the exact same question today.

After all the requests for swaps are dealt with then the remaining seats are put up online.

Edit: Sorry Roversmum this wasnt a reply to you lol.. but to the guy you replied to (robbo_rovers)

Yey then we can all start to count empty seats in stands to see how many we have left - pre-season in full swing!! Woo hoo!
