Would you not add Sergio Canales to that list?

Forgot about him.

Anyway, I think these players would be a good adition to the club and they are possible,if ROvers show enough determination to get them (and money, of course lol)

Whatever. Just another anti-Venky's-mafia crusader dishing the dirt ... ... "Ive been told" ... yes of course you've been told.

By the way - you did have a Twitter feed that was extremely anti-Venky's - bordering on libel in fact. You advertised it on page 275 of the SK thread on this very MB -

It's gone completely. Did you get scared, or did you get chased?

Oh, and another name drop. "Rather high ranking" ... are you related to Kelbo?

Well Tris it does seem strange to me that you highlight this, I am very dubious about plenty of posters on here and the causes they represent with their inside info, as a whole I take none of it to heart and believe even less, before the Venky's takeover BPF seemed to be a poster the same as many others, but after it he seems to be trying too hard, like a profile pic with a Rovers tatoo, or the inside info that comes straight from the source too which I have no doubt that he is getting but in all honesty I believe he is being used to put out a message they want us to hear whether it be truth or not.

Just before the whole saga with PJ we get a poster with barely any posts highlighting the fact that PJ had a clause in his contract too which Phillip pointed out that is was great timing, far too many people claim to be in the know and probably plenty are but ask yourself a question do they get the info you want to know or do they get the info they want you to know?

People should be carefull about what they really believe and decide to tweet to what is in the best interest to the club because plenty posting on here are being suckered in. Do yourself a favour BPM and ditch the snitch and stop relaying his messages on here because the majority of the time right or wrong it does the club and its fans no good.

Simmer down, the player himself would be a good signing, B'ham are in dreamland if they think he is going to go for anywhere near £14m, so i wasn't referring to that price :) Let me add to my previous post... 'at the correct price'

I know some people don't agree but I'm impressed with the way venkys have refused to be bullied by united on this. Maybe they didn't have a leg to stand on but they've fought their, and our, corner.

If it gets us an extra £4m we have to be happy. Even if it's based on performances we can't really complain.

To an extent, I agree with you, but it appears to be a case of them dealing with or trying to deal with a situation they got us into. According to what Nicko has said, it seems the owners decided to put a release clause in that wasn't there before. At least, that's how I've understood it. Correct me if I'm wrong, Nicko.

Selling Phil Jones and potentially losing Christopher Samba represents a disastrous start for the new campaign.

The heart of the back four ripped out, two key components to Paul Robinsons defence, is simply not good enough for the pisshead manager.

Kamy was right- Venky'd didn't have a leg to stand on sadly.

Key quote from the Daily Telegraph:

The absence of a recognisable structure of senior management at Ewood Park following the recent departures of long-serving chairman John Williams and managing director Tom Finn has contributed to the confusion surrounding the Jones transfer.

So the owners put the clause in and did so incompetently.

Then postured to try to get out of it.

Gosh, I am impressed.

Dear Tris----I thought you got stuck into me for being pro-Venkys recently. I also thought you were against a takeover and in favour of the Trust continuing to own us (even though they didn't want to).

I thought I had major responsibility for the mess we got into?

or you could choose to believe Nicko's article which says that extra money has been added to the deal.

Its up to you. Depends which version you prefer.

Cannot help but agree with this. Said for awhile I have no confidence in the owners. But standing up to Man U the way they and this - if it goes through - appointment of Pearsen from Hull. Is two steps in the right direction.

But sticking with Kean is the mind boggler, still wanting RSC, beggers belief. But credit when it is due, two steps in the right direction is good news.

Sorry Tris, I have to say this.

Does it matter if a poster is for or against the venkys? Do not both sides have a right to post their opinions? Maybe it would be better to consider both sides of a debate, read anothers view point. But to have ago, mock either side is what is not helpful. All sides have a right to post their opinions and we all have a right to dismiss or accept what is said. This applys to all of us not just you.

Regardless of whether Venky's have a legal leg to stand on or not (I still believe that they don't). It is fantastic the way that they have fought in trying to get a better deal and ensuring that United didn't just waltz in and do the deal, of course it is going to mean more ridicule in the media but this does show that they will not allow the bigger clubs to do as they please with our players. Why the heck they insisted in putting in the clause is of course a different matter, but I don't think that these kind of clauses will be as low in the future.

I am bet when the deal is announced and after what has gone on over the last week that this one will be one of those "undisclosed fee" jobs!

Be interesting to see what they do with Hoiletts contract.

You're taking the pish here.

Venkys have cocked up BIG TIME by losing Phil Jones to Man U.

As PhilL says isn't this a case of making a huge blunder and then trying to close the stable door after the horse has bolted?
