Kenwoo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 150 pages.. ridiculously off topic. Phil Jones saga ended and any further comment can be made in the PJ thread. Surely has to be time for Transfer Window Part 2 Definitely. "Part 2- The Samba Files"

JAL Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Jones deal done. New figures. One or two press folk feeling soft who said it would not rise...and the same for some bitter old barstewards. Just what are these new final figures please.
Amo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Why isnt the exact figure being published? Why, as it doesnt exactly build up trust if its going to be hidden. Because you're all about building trust...
Kelbo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Just what are these new final figures please. Looking at the official website it is worded a 'Potential record deal' therefore it appears as though there will be add ons based on appearances and International caps etc What we dont know is how the payments will be made, most are structured payments nowadays, wont make much difference as our purchases should be structured too!
alexanders Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Nicko. Please give us the figures before all the conspiracy begins here. Btw. I Heard a rumour that they wouldnt say the fee because they were taking half of it and putting it in their own pockets.
True Blue & White Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Rumours about a possible move to Chelsea for Tevez. A cheeky bid for Anelka might be worth a punt.
JAL Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Because you're all about building trust... Sound like a 'wrong un' here Topman. Again just what is the exact figure, do you know ?
mark1875 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 daily mirror say 20m http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-United-transfer-news-Phil-Jones-of-Blackburn-to-now-cost-20million-as-clubs-set-to-reach-compromise-article746475.html#ixzz1P6QFk58I then says 16.5 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-United-transfer-news-Phil-Jones-of-Blackburn-to-now-cost-20million-as-clubs-set-to-reach-compromise-article746715.html
Amo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Sound like a 'wrong un' here Topman. Again just what is the exact figure, do you know ? Nope, but I could make one up based on my 'sources'. Ohoho.
alexanders Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 And with the Red Devils refusing to budge beyond the figure, believed to be £16.5million, that triggered a buyout clause in the 19-year-old's contract, Blackburn have been forced to agree a sale. Wonder who is correct. I know I have most faith in Alan N.
Kenwoo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Right, it is £16 million now, £4 million add ons such as United winning the league, England caps.
slough_rover Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Nope, but I could make one up based on my 'sources'. Ohoho. Touche!
hi-jaq Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 No I wasn't nice... I like to make a habit of making a fool of myself. Oh well, let's move on!!!
Black Burn Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Nope, but I could make one up based on my 'sources'. Ohoho. I spilled sauce over my source, and am now outsourcing for more sources, which is taxing my resources and now I'm counting my losses. In the end, I would trust our good old friend Alan Nixon and say 20 million. Nicko, we're counting on you here! May your word be the gospel!
Kenwoo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Right, it is £16 million now, £4 million add ons such as United winning the league, England caps. And that's from the chappie who gave me the release clause tip. Let's sort of hope United win the league.
True Blue & White Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I can confirm the deal is worth £16m plus a Manchester United calender signed by Alex Ferguson. But we only get the calender if Jones goes on to become England captain.
rebelmswar Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Let's sort of hope United win the league. I honestly cant bring myself to do that. Bloody clauses. Its still a large wedge that all and sundry will know about now. We will probably end up paying 7.99 for a can of Pepsi Max. nice... I like to make a habit of making a fool of myself. Oh well, let's move on!!! I do it myself with reckless abandon - it lightens expectations.
JAL Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 And that's from the chappie who gave me the release clause tip. Let's sort of hope United win the league. Cheers Kenwoo.
