Although farfetched, if the owners want a marquee signing from Brazil, with re-sell value, surely we should be looking at Neymar and Ganso from Santos.

Both already good players who might be on the move this summer.

Expensive but worth more in three years time.

Yes him, I hear Wolfsburg will be letting him leave so maybe this is him?

Yeah, very good set piece and on the ball but could be a little lightweight in the Premier League

Diego is more of a realistic possibility I imagine. Neymar? No chance! Chelsea never seem to stop being linked with him, not sure how much is in it, but if he's being linked with clubs like Chelsea, I would have thought he would be out of our reach!

Neymar is also pretty intent on staying in Brazil.. he could move pretty much anywhere in the world right now.

One ridiculous quote from him was along the lines of 'I'll win world footballer of the year even playing in Brazil'

Thing is, there's no way they would ever come to us when they have some of the top clubs in Europe vying for their talents.

They'll be queuing up to sign for 'Mr Steve' as he's such a nice man.

JAL, why do you feel the need to refer to Kean as Stephen but not Hughes as Leslie and Allardyce as Samual??

Becuase he's being a prat and seeking to belittle him..reminds me of Vinjay actually(not a good thing btw..) who used to incessantly refer to Hughes as Leslie for the very same reason.

It's tedious and so is Jal at the moment.

I really feel it's time to start looking to the future rather than continually spouting negative cr*p.

no way its going to be Diego, or Neymar, or Ganso. Vagner Love perhaps, or my bet is Jo. Robinho has too big an ego, to join us.

would love Pedro Mendes, Maniche and Deco. old school flavour ;)
