Roverdale Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Mate at Blackpool saying Vaughan off on a free, wants to play in Prem! Reports suggest to West Brom (Sky Sports)
BomBom Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Ganso has a release clause of 50M Euros and Neymar 30M Euros. Would love either or both here but they aint happening anytime soon.
Torgeir Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Some people are quite good at times... One round here is actually excellent, but I won't name him to spare his blushes. The game's afoot. That'll be chaddyrovers, he's got a good track record when it comes to guessing games Marcelo it is then...
BuckyRover Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That'll be chaddyrovers, he's got a good track record when it comes to guessing games Marcelo it is then... It's got to be Robbie Keane
A cup of beans Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That'll be chaddyrovers, he's got a good track record when it comes to guessing games Marcelo it is then... if only it was kaka!
Iceman Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That'll be chaddyrovers, he's got a good track record when it comes to guessing games Marcelo it is then... how hard can it be, when you just throw names around Is Keef Andrews not half Irish, half Brazilian?
chaddyrovers Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Salgado? Salgado fitter than toni who is slow, lazy and past it! Toni has a massive ego and massive attitude problem. plus he has had 13 clubs in 17 years. Salgado has had 4 clubs in 17 years including 10 years at Real Madrid. Toni never seems to stay very long at any club. Longest stay at a club was 2 and half years Bayern munich before leaving them because of a falling out with the manageer.
rebelmswar Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Whatever happened to Sealdinho? Still stuck I'd imagine.
1864roverite Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 There are lots of varying opinions on the Jones sale. For me, there are some on here who are living in cloud cuckoo land. Does anyone really think Rovers could have kept Jones at the club with manure and l'arse knocking on the door ? No amount of money would have kept him at Ewood. There is no blame to be held against anyone. Its called natural progression of a skilfull footballer. Jones opened and learned his trade at Ewood. The credit goes to those who mentored him and the lad himself for learning. yes he only played 34 games for us does it matter ? No it bloody well doesnt. Phil Jones has been fortunate to be chosen by the 3rd biggest club in the world, that speaks volumes for him and our club. Now then, some on here are just plain idiotic if they believe Kean and the Venky's could have kept him away from mould t and rfw. It is a fact of life the cream rises to the top. I wish the lad all the very best and hope beyond hope he fulfills his potential because he could really be the real deal. It may go sour for him with injury or a loss of form but at least he brought Rovers a huge fee for his services, mnoney that will no doubt be reinvested into the club as well as the Academy It clearly is not about greed its about his ambitions its just annoying as a Rovers fan tht it came a little bit too early in that we wont see him grace our famous shirt for another season or so.

Fife Rover Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Rovers should only even talk to Lpool at this stage. No doubt there'll be talk of Jones going 'on strike' but that would be stupid as he'd damage his chances of being England captain which many think he is destined to be. I must say that although I never saw him play it appears to me that Jones has a touch of Duncan Edwards about him. Any comment Fife? Yes great similarity now you mention it Theno, but of course that would be mainly when Jones is playing in his midfield role. Both these players were/are natural born footballers and both had/have a great future ahead of them with Utd and England. Both were/will be sadly missed. I would go as far as to say that in signing Phil Jones, Utd have gone as near as it is possible to do so in finding a replacement for Duncan Edwards. Great comparison that Theno!
neophox Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Vagner Vagner Love Didn't someone mentioned "In Love with Venkys" ?? Vagner Love, Venkys like Brazilians....he's available on a free. He's only 26 and quite pacy and good technique and can score goals.
Speedie Dived Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 From what I Gather, Brazilian isnt a Forward! As long as it's not a Brazilian goalie then i will be happy
Bazrakats Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 do we need to buy a new cb if Samba stays. Wouldn't buying one and keeping Samba stunt Hanleys growth. Are we not back in for J Jones yet. would like him to be back defiantly.
Sverre Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Vagner Vagner Love Didn't someone mentioned "In Love with Venkys" ?? Vagner Love, Venkys like Brazilians....he's available on a free. He's only 26 and quite pacy and good technique and can score goals. Is he available on a free?? get him! He is quality.
aXept Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 A while ago Norwegian media said we were linked to the Egyptian player shikabala? Is there anything in this? He looks great..
Amo Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Is he available on a free?? get him! He is quality. You've got to ask yourself why, in seven years, he's spent most of it in Russia and more recently two loans spells in Brazil.
imy9 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 VL available on a free? Last saw a report that he was wanted by a Brazilian club for a lot of money, at least 10 million-quality on a free, think we are most likely after a defender.
Iceman Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 if we sign Marcelo, and Samba stays then we will have a good solid base to work with.
blue and whites Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 You've got to ask yourself why, in seven years, he's spent most of it in Russia and more recently two loans spells in Brazil. sure, but look at his goal ratio. that's pretty decent
