If there's no clause in his contract then there's no reason for us to accept a paltry 9M.

If Samba was English he'd probably be going for about £50M

If he was English he wouldn't have played here for so long that's for sure.

Regarding the unnamed Brazilian, I wonder if it's somebody most of us have actually heard of?

Regarding Phil Jones, I'm very happy with the Venky's in their attempts to stop scumnited walking all over us whether it be their own fault or not regarding the clause. I have no words to say about Phil Jones regarding the move, I neither care if he is a failure or a success. However, his claims to be a 'Rover' are somewhat laughable, if indeed, there was foul play involved at any stage. I'm still trying to work out how Ferguson magically knew of that clause....hmm....

Regarding the fee, what a great amount for somebody who is completely unproven. Yes, he had a fantastic second half of last season and looks as though he will move on to better things, but equally, how many times has that been said of other players who have completely failed to make the step up - Massimo Maccarone at Boro being one of them? It's a large sum of money for where we are and what we have, so overall i'm pleased.

All in all, these are exciting times at Rovers because even if Jones and Samba both end up leaving, we still have the nucleus of a very good team, add to that a large transfer kitty.

Why would he want to come to a Premier League team who has finished 15th?

Simple question. Maybe we need to calm down a bit so we don't get disappointed............oh sod it, let's have fun! :D

You just know our only signing will be Benjani on a five-year deal.

Andy Cryer on twitter saying Arsenal are upping their interest in Samba. Story in tomorrow's paper. Wonderful.

If Samba goes, we are in big big trouble, we would have lost the two players to build our defence on next season, they really will take some replacing, plus our set plays will be much more difficult.

The cost of replacing these guys like for like will take quite a few bob.
