samba price has to be excess 18m or no deal, fella is almost unique in this league man mountain and at times a one man defence, only 27 and still getting better.

we won't do better and him going automatically requires the purchase of a center half and also a right back, salgado is finished without the safety net of samba to stop everything that gets past him.

9m would be a joke, don't care how ###### off samba gets being denied the arse but we can't be raped over the price just because they are a bigger club, pay the going rate or £@$& off mr wenger

Fact is he wants a move away from us. That is in the arse's favor. We will never see 18m + for him.

If we have someone playing for us who doesn't want to be here..... As far as i am concerned good riddance.

We may be lucky to see 10 million for him plus 500K cos he speaks in Wenger tongue. Age plus the fact that Arsenal are no Man U as money spenders. The good thing is that we have a benchmark price at Rovers for Central defenders which is quite current and we dont need to sell.

I've never heard of Miranda but the thought of a Brazilian centre back immediately fills me with fear. Without wishing to be stereotypical, being physical and hard to beat has always been one of our qualities.

Not sure he'd make it as a centre back in this league, seems to have the skill to play full back though.
