Heard that too from a very reliable source with a very astute footballing brain.

My source is Iceman, who's yours?

i wont be getting my hopes up, your reports are usually 2nd hand and way off the mark(like most mirror "gossip", sorry.

Please prove me wrong though :excl:

Fair comment.

As much as I know it won't happen, if we bought Neymar I would buy a season ticket this year - and would probably buy one for a few friends too.

top quality, South American, exactly what Venkys want.

Agreed, not very likely though iceman, wernt spurs sniffing round him in January?

If he was to move it would be to bigger club than rovers I reckon.

The absurd ambitiousness of some people on this message board is absolutely hilarious.

If Forlan scored only 10 goals for Man United in three years, then how could he be a succsess at Ewood? Premier League clearly does not suit him

some of these names are getting ridicules now, we cant offer these players European football, that's what they want these days, its going to take years of rebuilding before we can even consider these types of players, rovers is full of deadwood that needs to be shipped out and of are wage bill, not naming names i think we all know who they are, so stop with the forlans and hulks they aint going to happen

Every year a sad sack likes you feels the need to do this.

Chucking your toys out the pram because you dont like the news he brings.

It must be the highlight of your school day. In fact your probably having a quick one off the wrist now. Very quietly though, your mum might hear you otherwise.

I really hope we spend this money on young, hungry players. I know I'd sooner have them than Forlan and Kanoute upfront.

Different set up - different way of playing etc. Now more mature player.

Now using his tears of rejection as lubricant.

(probably find out later that it is a jilted 54 year old woman that Mr. Nixon dumped when she and he were 15)

Needless to say I do not always follow the testaments of The Nixon as gospel, but I do enjoy the momentary hope that his innuendos of great signings doth bring.

How about testing Arsenal's resolve with a bid for Nasri?

Even though we'd have no chance it would be funny!

Although the press would be all over us ala Ronaldinho.
