Good call who mentioned Mutu, offer him £60,000 a week and he's yours.Mutu & Ba upfront with Biabiany coming down the right now you are talking.

Ireneusz Jelen is not the worst either.

Isn't Vucinic,City & Juventus maybe others.

Fred would be a top signing.

Please dont encourage them Roberto :P

Aquilani has been functionally gone for a long time.

Liverpool fans seem to be discussing the possibility - Henderson, Gerrard, Adam, Lucas and Shelvey for three central berths - two if Suarez and Carroll play together, which they surely will - leaves no room for Meireles. I doubt we'd be the biggest club in for him if word got out that he was available, but I'd love to see him in a Rovers shirt.

I live in Liverpool with Liverpool fans. There is absolutely no way that Meireles will be sold this summer. Anyone who thinks Shelvey would be in contention ahead of Meireles needs their head examining tbf. Gerrard is blighted by injuries so they need extra cover, plus I can see them playing Henderson on the right as Sunderland have used him there in the past freeing up another central berth.

The likes of Poulsen, Joe Cole, Aquilani will be shifted - if they can find anyone stupid enough to buy the first two, that is.

Loved to see how the local rag, The LT, handle players leaving the club this summer especially some who are fans favourites.

Andy Cryer tonight seems to be setting the scene with his back page headline today ....

WE'LL FIGHT TO KEEP OUR STARS .......as the Jones United deal goes ahead.

Thought we weren't a selling club Mrs.D.

I think offering him the biggest contract in the clubs history is fighting to retain our players - what else would you have them do ? Release clause level will have been (at least in part) down to Jones and his agent - and keeping an unhappy player against his will would have been detrimental to team morale.

You have all the answers - what would you have done differently ?

You have definitely become the most cringeworthy poster on this message board over the last year. Please seek professional help.

It was originally inserted by the Trust (IMO). PJ obviously knew what he wanted from an early age.

You do get the impression it will be a clean sweep and both Samba & Hoillet will leave in the next few weeks. Obviously we'll be left with a big transfer kitty, but we could reastically be putting out a team made up of 5-6 new players come the end of August. Bit 'football manager-ish' but on the other hand quite exciting.

Why aren't there any transfer stories about Grella, Andrews, Diouf et al??

BTW How the hell did Grella not make that "Europe's most unwanted" list someone posted earlier!!!
