To any of our scandanavian members are any of the players on this link worth a look:

Well, all three Swedes are promising, and it would be nice to bring them here. I dont' know too much about Celik to be honest, but Agon Mehmeti will probably be a great player. Not ready for EPL yet, but he is often compared to a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic (same club, same background etc). I think he will make it bigtime to be honest.

Molins in on the verge of the national squad, often competing with our Martin Olsson. As far as I know he is more of a left winger than a right winger. Might be wrong though.

Just a note, the club, Malmö FF is known in Sweden for getting large sums for selling players, and they will probably look for around £3-4m for each of these two players. If we went for one of them , I'd go for Agon Mehmeti.

Just why, do I, not take, that, too seriously.

No point having an expensive striker up front, whilst your opponents are banging goals in for fun at the other end.

Oh do shut up, JAL.

So what, you don't want us to sign a proven striker now?

Vucinic for £10m....Juve to battle with!

Bidding expected to be above £10m.

2 key bits

"Kean is flying to the Swiss base of Blackburn’s Indian advisers Kentaro today to work through his list of targets and hopes to be landing players shortly.

It is thought Vucinic, 27, will go to where the most money is and Rovers could outbid Juve, who only finished seventh in Serie A to miss out on European qualification altogether."

Sweet. Kind of first rate signing we need and it could make Hoilett and Samba take note.

That said we surely have to be up against it with the likes of Spurs and Juve sniffing around....

Great player, just can't see him coming to Rovers. Even though Juve don't have European football next season they are a huge club and the player wouldn't need to leave the country.

Happy to see us being linked to a player of his calibre and it does give me hope we might spend some serious money this window but I am not optimistic about a deal happening. If Spurs are indeed interested then he will always pick them over us.

Because you're a sad git :D

I take it Kean will sign defenders as well.

I bet if you won £1m on the lottery you would complain because it wasn`t £1.1m! <_<

Because you're a massive killjoy/tool.

Gargantuan in proportion. You could be the least fun person of all time. Could be... At least Vinjay made you think, y'know... You're like a child mindlessly asking annoying questions. You need to go to bed.

Because it's positive.

If the story had been we're selling Ewood Park, moving to Iceland and becoming an American Football team you'd have believed it.

On one hand I am wary of any names ending in 'ic' after Niko Kalinic but on the other hand he does have a pretty decent beard in that picture so I'm ok with it.

Serious lack of beards around Ewood these days.

Oh and thanks JAL for proving 'Marslands theory of negativity'

bit of a coo if we could get Vucinic to come too us over juve(still a great club, just going through a bad period), he seems like an good crowd pleasing character which is somat rovers squad lacks since tugay left, ability wise seems similar type of player as kalinic too me, but more effective hopfully.

I have always liked Roma, and I follow them whenever I can.. my first thought is that this is a risky transfer. Vucinic is absolutely brilliant when he's on, and absolutely awful when he's not. He's capable of scoring that one goal in a tight match, and is overall a very good player, but tends to drift out of games. Inconsistancy is not uncommon at Roma though, and he's played in various positions - out wide, as a trequartista and as a striker.

I do think Nicko's line about money is spot on, because he's not been consistant enough to really push on to one of the bigger sides.. New owners at Roma at the moment, and Totti will deliver for another season - probably time for Vucinic to go. I don't see him coming our way, to be honest, but stranger things have happened.

Not convinced he has the kind of personality we want as our first big-money signing in years, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
