Definitely feel there is something in the Vucinic link. There were several stories knocking around earlier in Feb about Rovers interest CLICKY but back then the fee being talked about was £16 million plus.

Since then he's struggled for form at Roma and unhappy that the crowd have got on his back. If there was any truth in our interest back then, we are likely to be back in if his price has dropped. Salary wise would be huge but less than we paid RSC.

Quality player but doesn't fit the target man role and isn't mega prolific - averaging roughly a goal every 3 games.

(having said that twelve goals a season would make him our top striker by a mile!)

What about Brede Hangeland as a replacement for Samba if he goes? Same kind of attributes as Samba, although two years older, and banged in a fair few goals from CB for Fulham last year too. 2 years left on his current deal and currently without a manager at Craven Cottage.

Martin jol is at fulham , cannot see him letiting hangeland go, would be a good signing thou

I'd like to see us go for Hangeland, but I suspect that he'll stay or go to one of the bigger teams. Brilliant distributor, and obviously an aerial force in both ends.. He's magnificent, as long as he's able to stay in position- when he has go wide to cover for full backs, he does not have the same composure. Should fit in well with Nelsen, Givet or even Samba. Could make a very skillful partnership with Miranda, judging from the latter's youtube video....

As another follower of Roma, it seems pretty likely Vucinic will leave. He was in some pretty poor form in the second half of last season, he ended up getting booed (not deserved) and there were rumours of his wife being abused too. The new owners have said they'll try and persuade him to stay but he might be off - would love him to come here, quality player!

He's already requested his transfer. It's all about who is interested, and lets be honest, there's better clubs than Blackburn interested.

What makes you so sure?

Juve are my second... no, wait, THIRD love. (Better put that, otherwise the other half'll gimme ear ache about it. ;) ) Doesn't make me an expert or nothing, but the situation is this: Juve's owners are tight now. There's barely any money and it's likely that what there is will go on Lichsteiner of Lazio. Now, unless Juve manage to rid themselves of Sissoko, Grosso, Salihamidzic, and most importantly Amauri, then the funds will become available for Juve to chase targets. But again, Vucinic isn't high on that list. Vargas is. Aguero is. Inler is. Alexis Sanchez is.

Sky Italia are reporting the same, however that Juventus have offered €10m (£8.8m) instead of £10m.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him go to Udinese or Napoli, if I'm honest. Especially if Udine' lose Sanchez soon.

I'd love for this to happen too, but I rate Hangeland highly, and reckon he'd fit in somewhere further up the table.

Plays left wing too, I believe. Better than Pedersen by a mile. If he was to play there, I wonder how his defensive qualities are to help Olsson out when he moves forward.

Hasn't Enrique just taken over at Roma and is taking two players from Barca with him Krkic and the Soriano?

Guess they wont need MV.

He has, however Soriano will remain at Barca, and will be elevated to the first team if Bojan leaves. Bojan, however, seems to have dug his heels in at Barca, and refuses to negotiate a move anywhere. Shame too. His career would improve drastically with more game time.

Vucinic has definitely asked for a transfer. I remember reading it yesterday. Just can't find where now. >:(
