Just cause we have a large wad there is no reason to go blowing it on anything - much like sheeple who bah their way through Starbucks lines to get a double shot late with caramel and some of that quite useless nutmeg sprinkled on top, all surrounded with a "100% recycled" hand protector.

Let us be petrol station coffee drinkers please.

Precisely, Lancashire!!!!

Your mum and dad must have been terrified when Christmas approached.

Reb, once again you retain your title, pure gold. The day we finally have that pint in NY is going to be a day that lives long in my memory.

In regards to RSC, I've not heard anything other than what I heard last week. Perhaps Venkys have found a replacement South American Poster Boy.

Feeling much better about the club this week, heard some positive stuff. We are not owned by morons, despite what I have said in the past.

Onwards and upwards.

Is that cos your buying it

I would make a small bid for Duff now that Hughes has gone, he just had a very good season for Fulham. Still has a couple more seasons in him I believe.

Good shout Torgeir, Duff for a relatively low fee would provide cover at left full back and could operate on a wing still, as Kean is looking to play with two wingers next season, can also play on the right if needed. I'd love to see Duff finish his career at Rovers.

Shocked people would pay 6 mil for JJ,how much is Gago available for he can't just defend but can control the tempo of the game,JJ is a good player and covers well but is dangerous in the tackle and was lucky not to get sent off a few times, his distribution at times is woeful,3 to 4 mil max.Vucinic another publicity stunt?where did the story originate?i'm not as hopeful as most on this transfer window, if we sell hoillet i don't care who we sign i will never back venky's or Kean who to me is still nothin but a yes man, i've heard we only have 20 mil to spend even after P Jones's sale.get Hoillet a new contract asap, have we even opened talks with him, thought Kean was going to fly to canada to convince him to sign weeks ago.

I believe Wes Brown to be a good player, especially when you factor into the equation the experience he has at the top level of English, and European football. Would probably only cost a reasonable amount also. I also cannot see this player asking for wages above 60/70k, but this is conjecture.

Realism is something a few people could use. Vucinic, Adebayor, Defoe etc would either be on too much wages, or simply not interested in moving to our club. I would be more worried about the financial black hole the club will be creating by spending more of our turnover on 70k+ wage players. For example Adebayor is reported to be earning around £170,000 a week.

I'm not sure if Kean has the gab, or the reputation to get big stars to Ewood without massive contracts either, so I can personally say I would prefer to see the likes of Johnson, Seb Larsson, Charlie Adam and Jermaine Jones signed this summer, so I could avoid any "pompey" nightmares.

"The Montenegro international is struggling to find his place in the new-look team under Luis Enrique"

What a stupid comment that is from that site,Enrique only arrived last week, and they are all on holiday.

Juventus have been talking to his agent for 2 months now.Juventus may offer Roma De Ceglie as part of the deal too.

Depends just how much Juve wants him, they will clearly beat us to him if they're as interested as us. But Juve has other targets in mind, surely?

Defoe is never going to sign for Rovers, why would he leave spurs for us ? Its just not going to happen. I have no idea why his name keeps coming up.

In fairness he did sign for Pompey and we are defo a bigger club than them and could guarantee him first team football, but agree it's unlikely

It would be a long shot, but he's often on the bench at Spurs and he may want first team football, especially to stay within the England set-up. He also had a very poor season and may fancy a change.

10 million pounds for Emmanuel Adebayor???

I think he would be an excellent signing for us but could we match his wages tho???

Kean has realise that we need a top quality striker at the club
