Celebrating.

Partick Thistle won a big trophy for the first time in 40 years.

What did you win my other team berwick will be making its yearly scottish league cup trip to your boys so every year we get the same draw.

I hope Benjani's gone.

If the club's going to progress, we can't start the season with a 33 year-old Benjy.

I know fans argue "he can do a job" but that's a euphemisms for "isn't total cack".

Gala want Pedersen? Sell sell sell! And they can have Grella for no additional cost!

We want a fee for MGP? Of course we should want one. On a 4 year contract and only 29. We are becoming accustomed to releasing our players lately.

We don't want to charge too much though. Let's just say we have an opportunity to offload a high earner on our wage bill that won't be playing that much next season.

I wonder if Jimmy Bullard is worth taking a chance on?

He scored 5 goals in 16 games at the back end of last season on loan at Ipswich and seems to be over his injury problems.

He's on £45k a week but Hull are willing to pay part of his wages and Bullard himself has said he's prepared to take a wage cut to move.

If we could get him on a free at £30k a week I think he's definitely worth a go, on his day he's better than anything we have.

Daughter's bag Jagged Thistle [in red, yellow and black] won major designer award in New York last night.

Too much of a risk with his history of knee injuries. Hull couldn't find an insurance company that would cover him.

SSN – Sky Sports News understands that Sunderland are set to win the race to sign Seb Larsson….

Happy with that because Kean says he wants to play 2 strikers but play quick, attacking, flowing football…..something Larsson wouldn’t really fit into.

Ha Congratulations Although you can prob expect neil lennon to complain about the ref's in the compititon being biased against the green and white bag that they had in the comp.

Another name on here that keeps cropping up in Demba Ba, looks like he is on his way to Newcastle. According to SSN anyway

Gutted we are not all over it.

Passed a medical with West Ham, Newcastle & Everton and failed 1 with Stoke.....sounds to me like they found it as an excuse.

For FREE - even on £60k a week he is a bargain!! Newcastle building a decent side

What makes you think he won't fit into that? Quick, attacking, flowing football doesn't have to mean that every player is Theo Walcott. The recent game against Finland (5-0) is a good example of that type of football. If anything one might argue that he'd fit better in a 4-4-2 than a 4-2-3-1.

Anyone else think we should snap up Manuel Fernandes if JJ's overpriced?

Is he not more of an attack minded player than a box to box / tough tackling type midfielder???

He's a good shout if we could get him... very good & technically gifted player & still relatively young at 25!!!

If you want to play with lots of pace and a quick attack – Larsson isn’t your man….he’s quite slow for starters……….Shaun Wright Phillips for right wing anyone??

That list of the released players isn't quite correct, firstly Javier Garrido joined Lazio from City last summer, I remember that transfer for some reason. I'm sure a couple of other players are still at their clubs/left way before the summer.

That's directly from PL, and it's the same list. I would assume that's as correct as it can be when it was done (1st of June). Perhaps Garrido went to Lazio on loan.

ADEBAYOR - can't see that being right on his wages.

VUCINIC - somebody well-informed mentioned the Juve meeting yesterday...good information...see what the price and pay deal is...and then match it or not.

CENTRE HALF - may be one of interest becoming available.

LARSSON - getting a better off Sunderland than Rovers...Rovers won't go to the papy levels he is getting...so that one will go by...had some big interest in him...not my cup of tea.

WARNOCK - Newcastle close to doing something...big wages, small fee...not needed back here.

Working on a couple of others but can't go into details yet.

Come on, you Jags.
