DanielMB Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Im not saying he is that good. Im saying hé could be that good with playingtime and a manager who believes in him. Thère must be a reason teams like Milan, Dortmund and Bayern Munich are following. Teams better than us.

howzat Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner is a clown one of the worst finishers in pl history. when are we going to put a bid in for someone!!
Hughesy Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Defoe would be a better option than Bendtner or Adebayor, he's a goalscorer if playing week in, week out.
BuckyRover Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 He would be more suited to a team like ours. Arsene doesn't know how to utilise a forward. We would be getting the ball to him near the goal at every opportunity. Arsenal often appear to be doing everything in their power not to get the ball to the striker in the box. His goals to games ratio at international level is better than his Arsenal ratio.
Roverdale Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Kuqi on free anyone? I'm confident that I would be a better signing.
dubdubdub Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner is poop. He's a white Heskey but with a bit more pace and a lot less power. If he is so good, then why does he rarely play in a team with few proper strikers. Since joining Arsenal in 2005, he has made a contribution through scoring or assisting a goal in pretty much one in two matches. That includes internationals. You also have to bear in mind that at Arsenal he doesn't generally play full games.
Blackburn Ravers Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Samba is 1/10 on skybet to join Arsenal now http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/chris-samba-specials/club-after-summer-transfer-window
BPF Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Kuqi on free anyone? I get home from taking 40 Year 10 kids around Chester Zoo. I log on, foolishly hoping for some news. I'm met with the above. The life of a Blackburn Rovers fan. Never changes, even with money to spend.
davulsukur Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I expect Samba to be gone soon, but we have expected that for a while now. just a matter of getting a replacement in.
dj54nna Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner is a clown one of the worst finishers in pl history. when are we going to put a bid in for someone!! When Jason Roberts is your main striker, this is a massive improvement. I think Bendtner would be a decent signing, giving him a chance of regular football at this point in his career would do nothing but good for him. Can't see him wasting on Arsenal's bench for another season. More chance of landing him than Adebayor, and a much better prospect than Santa Cruz.
Speedie Dived Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Im not saying he is that good. Im saying hé could be that good with playingtime and a manager who believes in him. Thère must be a reason teams like Milan, Dortmund and Bayern Munich are following. Teams better than us. He was not liked at Birmingham, he blamed the pitch. He is not massively liked at Arsenal. One of the reason these clubs are linked with him is due to his over enthusiastic agent who too believes that he is a top player (His Dad) He could not finish his dinner....
rebelmswar Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner is rubbish. Compared to Roberts, Benji, or Kalanic? I say he is far superior to all of them.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 .....but still better than anything we have at present! Bendtner and cash for Samba?
rebelmswar Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I think all this money talk that we will possibly have is fueling pretentions of grandiosity.
Fife Rover Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Is there actually anything in this Adebayor thing? Really cant see it myself as he is one of those players who things he is better than he is and having been on loan at madrid doubt he'd want to move to rovers?! Another little job for Salgado?
Roverdale Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Have I missed something? Why is Dimitar Berbatov at 6/4 to join Newcastle? If he is even CONSIDERING a move I hope we're all over it. Slim chance but surely we can be challenging Newcastle for transfers?
rebelmswar Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner and cash for Samba? If he is going to throw a tantrum about not going then I don't see why that wouldn't work.

I can't argue with that reasoning, but you know this guy would be much easier to land, and much cheaper!

Slim chance but surely we can be challenging Newcastle for transfers? He used to support Newcastle as a kid or something (seem to remember him saying he used to sleep in a Shearer shirt), doubt he'll go there though..
BuckyRover Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I can't argue with that reasoning, but you know this guy would be much easier to land, and much cheaper! Work permit?
LeChuck Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Have I missed something? Why is Dimitar Berbatov at 6/4 to join Newcastle? If he is even CONSIDERING a move I hope we're all over it. Slim chance but surely we can be challenging Newcastle for transfers? They have got £35 million of Andy Carroll's fee to spend, and can probably offer higher wages than us. Plus (rightly or wrongly) I still think they'll be more appealing to big name players.
Fife Rover Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Hahaha!! And yes Bangkok Rover everyone clearly knew you were posting that for the wage figure.. However a little banter at the fact you posted a FM sheet was necessary first. £210k p/w is questionable.. I know a few players that are on FM and some denied the wages the game claims they get. Hmmmmm! Could that just be for the benefit of the tax inspector?
Ralfinho Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 A subbuteo player would perform better than Bentdner!! Even with the bottom of it being rubbed on furniture polish
