MeanGreenMachine Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Why is Bendtner even being discussed? His ego wouldnt see him come to rovers.

booth Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner has made an impression at Arsenal... http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=123842&start=300 My Gooner mate thinks you lot who want him at rovers are mad
eddiewac Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner should've scored double the amount that hes scored with the number of chances he's had, I'm sure if you stick Kalinic into Arsenals team he'd score just as many
AJW Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Desperately need a Nicko/Kamy fix for something new/plausible to talk about. This is a little ridiculous now. As for my two cents... Bendtner would be all down to price IMO.. and I don't think we could get him cheap enough to be value for money. Better than what we have though.. Also... Can add Mutu to that earlier list. But dismissed under the category of too addicted. I'm sure there will be more
Roverdale Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Pretty sure someone said we were linked with this guy (possibly Jan). Garra Dembele Missed out on him anyway...
Blackburn Ravers Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Speaking of Dembele, i wouldnt mind Mousa Dembele from Fulham at Rovers,
hesfromburn Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Arsenal fans hate bendtner and denilson. but both are good players. not "arsenal standard" - not winning anything standard?
JonnyH Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 It's not a direct comparison to our current strike force though(I would take Kalinic over him though everyday). It's a judgement on the money he would cost, the type of player, the attitude. There are literally 100's of better strikers out there in world football Including you in your day!!
Hekla Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I am worried about who we will sign, yes the time is early but will we see good players come to Blackburn?

brian nelsen Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I am worried about who we will sign, yes the time is early but will we see good players come to Blackburn? I'm sure things will start happening soon my friend. Be patient and in the meantime, enjoy the (pretty bad) speculation.
Speedie Dived Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Including you in your day!! Love to return the compliment but that would be a bare faced lie, ha ha ha Stay on topic please sir :-)
Iceman Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I hope we sign Adebayor, Denilson, Rosicky and Clichy.
Hi Mack Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 There is a massive difference between a player not good enough for Arsnal and a player not good enough for us! Bentley was deemed not good enough and became arguably our best player! It's not 1995 people, we've just got to keep our fingers crossed and hope something miraculous happens!
hesfromburn Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I Agree think bendtner & denilson would be good for us and appriciated. denilson is not valued by arsenal fans the treat him worse than andrews!!! oh both young and homegrown.
BRFC_Pilkz Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Would anyone like to see Rovers try and sign Nicky Maynard from Bristol City he's young and a goalscorer?
Iceman Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 those fringe Arsenal and Spurs players, I would seriously have a look at. Arsenal Denilson Vela Bentdner Rosicky Clichy Spurs Bentley Krankjar Defoe Palacios Bassong Dos Santos Why look outside England, when there are quality players looking for 1st team football. Only stumbling block, might be that Spurs and Arsenal will demand big money. Samba for Bassong and Krankjar/Defoe Samba for Denilson and Clichy/Vela? despite not playing much, they are still quality players, who will improve the team.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I wouldnt take Bendtner over Jason Roberts. This isn't about getting carried away with the money and the rumours linking us with big names, I genuinely think Bendtner is one of the worst players in the division. He scored 3/4 against Luton town in the Carling Cup I recall. That's his contribution to Arsenal over the past 3/4 years. Shocking player.
RoverRich Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Would anyone like to see Rovers try and sign Nicky Maynard from Bristol City he's young and a goalscorer? Yes, just cos my housemate is a Bristol City fan and he loves Nicky so he would be very annoyed In all seriousness, I end up seeing a lot of him due to the above reason and I think he is a useful player with potential. Whether he can make the step up to the Prem in unknown but he would be worth a shot IMO as long as he was brought in alongside a big name striker. Out of the Championship I would probably most like to see him or Shane Long in our squad. I reckon he would score more than Benjani or Roberts anyway!
hesfromburn Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 left peg what about all his goals and assits each year? more than anyone we have. he is only 22

Bendtner is wanted by teams like Bayern Munich and AC Milan, he is not a bad player if these teams are interested. He has scored very important goals for Arsenal in the past, with a big run in another team he could be very good. Because he is a lazy looking type of player, people think he doesn't have ability.
Kenwoo Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 People looking down their noses at Bendtner on here is laughable. He's twice as good as anything we've got up front at the moment. That's not saying much though.
RoverMad86 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Bendtner is a player a team needs to build around to play to his strenghts. I think he would be a good signing. Money (wages) might be an issue though.

Watch him over 90 minutes, he is massively over-rated. He is an MOTD player bit like Gamst
