47er Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Yes. Every last rupee. You would not believe how tight the manager is with the owners...it's got stronger since he took over. And, how shall I put this, they TRUST him with their money. More deluded than we thought.

Roverdale Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Editor: Stand by for a further update on Phil Jones' future - and it may come as something of a shock to Liverpool fans. (Sky Sports)
47er Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Kean brought in J.Jones, Rochina, Formica and Roque in January. Jones looked class, Rochina looks like a very tidy player and Formica is one for the future. Roque was a flop and Kean didn't play him. Why are we all assuming Kean can't pick out players to buy? On the basis of January he didn't do too badly. Absolute cobblers! He bought 4 in January and in our hour of desperate need only 1 made any contribution. Roque was a flop you say but Kean intends to sign him!
davulsukur Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Skys big news: Editor: Sky Sports sources understand Phil Jones is not heading for Anfield but is in fact having a medical ahead of signing a five-year deal with Manchester United. We'll bring you more details as we get them
Mercer Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 United bid in apparently All reminiscent of when Kenny lost Kean to United at the last minute.
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Apparently Phil Jones will sign for Man Utd today for cash £16m. The money should be used to get Scott Parker, Roger Johnson, Seb Larsson and Demba Ba. And keep Samba at the club I hope!

neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Nicko: Any substance in the United in for Jones rumour? Nicko: Any substance in the United in for Jones rumour? What about Matt Upson? I believe he's available for free?

SamTheShrew Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Bye bye Phil Jones. Hello old friend dissillusion! It better be 16 miilion. I give up if it is 15 million as Sky are reporting
RibbleValleyRover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Jones looking like he has gone. Wonder how Samba, Olsson and Hoilett will feel about that.
bastionRover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Bye bye Phil Jones. Hello old friend dissillusion! It better be 16 miilion. I give up if it is 15 million as Sky are reporting This is the part I can't get my head around. If the clause was 16 million, how can we accept 15 million? WTF is going on here???
RevidgeBlue Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 15m! It's getting even worse! Nicko, as we're letting him go for such a snip of a fee, is there any indication as to whether whether we have a hefty sell on clause of our own?
Emge Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Jones looking like he has gone. Wonder how Samba, Olsson and Hoilett will feel about that. That is what makes me the most upset by Phils departure!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I've heard it's 15m plus add ons which will boost it to 17m+, which works out better for us than 16m outright. Just a whisper though nothing concrete.
SamTheShrew Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 you have to question who exactly is doing the deal making at Ewood, there is nobody left
bastionRover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Interesting reading from a Citeh site. They're as desperate to shift Santa as we are for him not to return permanently http://www.manchestercity.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=243861
