Macheda has shown potential at least, yes he may have some attitude problem, but he is young. I prefer him to the others mentioned.

There were some rumours flying around about MGP and J'Oshea a while back....

Hope we don't end up with O'Shea, he plays a lot of positions, but none of them well.

I'm not sure you've previously mentioned we should sign Defoe.

No he won't Chaddy, the player is well past it and that one decent season he had with us was a fluke.

How much for RSC? £5m and £90000 p/w in wages, plus a full time physio and a dozen treatment tables. He has shown nothing since leaving Rovers, look elsewhere PLEASE.

If Kean signs Roque then I'll be convinced once and for all that he really is a puppet.

Reading bewtween the lines these last few days it seems to me that the in the know brigade may have been fed some ###### on that one.

There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Jones wanted to stay in January, non whatsoever and thats via his family so please dont bring that one up as you are way, way off the mark, what has happened since January though is another thing completely.

disappointed to be losing a great player for what seems a small amount but anything could happen in football , he's already had 1 bad injury and he's only 19 , another serious knee ligament injury and his career may stutter i think sometimes you can miss opportunities to sell players , we should of sold mccarthy after 1 season , we should have sold Pedersen 2/3 seasons ago , my bigger concern now is that others will follow and we dont or cannot recruit players of the right quality £16m should be enough to bring in 3-4 quality players to go into our first 11 , however with this manager and this board i await with bated breath

My main worry now is that Kean really wants RSC and MBD and pays over the odds now there's cash there.

Agreed 10 fold. IMO this would be a bigger problem for us than Jones leaving.

Don't be daft. He'd be mad to have turned that opportunity down. Scholes is an Oldham fan, Rooney an Everton fan and their careers would have been at a much lower level as would their talents if they'd stayed put.

It's not the players who are at fault, nor is it the respective clubs it's the entire Prem / CL set up which has rendered every European league into an uncompetative sham, a carbon copy of the shambolic Scotish set up which is completely at odds to the best interests of 80% of every nations football fans. We have been herded around by the media money men just like so many sheep.

Agree. Scholes still has a clause inserted into his contract that if Oldham come in for him and offer the going rate he is allowed to speak to them. Apparently SAF p*sses himself laughing every time they renew his contract.

Given the new UEFA regulations next season I think £16m is a reasonable price. Would have liked more, but he has only played 36 games and might not make it yet, although I think he will. Good luck PJ, thanks for the limited memories. My main worry is spending the next 3 months watching us waste the biggest transfer budget we have had in 15 years on has been's and no hopers...

if we struggle this season, its entirely down to Kean and Wankys. we sell one of our best players, in order to fund the likes of RSC and M Diouf. crazy!

Why is he still in his medical? He has been in there since 1pm

Actually scratch that he was pictured on SSN leaving the hospital in his England Suit on the way to the airport
