Amo Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Kean hardly played Mame towards the end of the season. I don't see why on earth he would want him back.

den Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Andrew Cryer has just say on Talksport that rovers try to keep Jones but he wanted to go. Can't give out release clauses right left and centre, then tell the fans you tried to keep them. Once the contract is signed, he's in the hands of another clubs manager. I might look a bit like a cabbage, but I'm not green. Sick to the teeth of saying this.
davulsukur Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Jones is still in his medical. Rovers are trying to get a player as well as cash... Please tell me the player is a least half decent, if its John O'Shea or Wes Brown you'll find me at the end of a rope
den Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Please tell me the player is a least half decent, if its John O'Shea or Wes Brown you'll find me at the end of a rope it wont be.
Gav Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Jones is still in his medical. Rovers are trying to get a player as well as cash... Jones left his medical at around 5pm, it was shown on sky sports

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I don't know how much Kean wants him, but Venkys' PR REALLLLLLY want him. Venkys have PR?
Backroom Tom Posted June 8, 2011 Backroom Posted June 8, 2011 i still reckon Kean will sign him. Thats why i have suggest him. I would go for a striker with pace and target man. Does your mate not still think we are signing Robbie Keane?
Hughesy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 if we struggle this season, its entirely down to Kean and Wankys. we sell one of our best players, in order to fund the likes of RSC and M Diouf. crazy! Entirely? Its a clause, they had NO choice. :!: Seriously get a grip!
Torgeir Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I wouldn't mind Obertan, Welbeck or one of the two crazy Brazilian brothers. Obertan more likely, but not sure if he's friends with MGP if there's any truth to that part.
Andy3809 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Not many 18 year olds that I can think of have managed to boss Drogba and Anelka so comprehensively. In fact not many centre halves full stop. You can sigh all you want when I'm wrong, when I'm right just stfu. And this makes my point perfectly. A good performance by one of our players turns into bossing Drogba and Anelka for 90mins. He didn't boss anybody. He positioned himself well and made some timely blocks, won some ball and had a very good game for a 18 year old. Decent player yes. 16 million pounds worth? Probably due to being English and showing potential. A total player who bosses world class strikers? Only on the Brfcs messageboard.
67splitscreen Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Obertan and RSC, Crocky will need a ST for the family stand to even see the ball.
Torgeir Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Venky's PR will be able to use RSC for PR purposes all they want as he won't be fit enough to be on the field. Sign Fat Ronaldo as coach for our strikers instead, I'm sure that'll do the trick too.
beanie Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Please tell me the player is a least half decent, if its John O'Shea or Wes Brown you'll find me at the end of a rope They won't be as good as the 2 players mentioned.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs have no idea what real talent is. United signed the best young English centre half 9 years ago for £30m.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The silence from Ewood is deafening. Kean is supposedly in India (strange timing. Who is negotiating the Jones deal? Anyone else get the feeling they (Venkys/Rovers) are desparate to drag 'someone' in so they can put a positive spin on this? nb: If they role out RSC as a marquee signing then Mr Pegden better get ready for another server crash...
Hughesy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Is every link/ rumour going to get this over reaction about the new owners all summer?? Lets just wait and see who actually we go for....how about coming up with sensible/ good options that might be picked up!

I actually agree with this, he made a name for himself in that game with the 3 tackles in quick succession but as a centre half he still makes quite a few mistakes which would be highlighted at the top level.

Mandrake Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Every United reject is FAR too overpriced to ever represent a good deal - worst part of the jones saga by far - cant imagine ANY player who is allowed to leave united - who I would want - bar Berbatov
Hughesy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The silence from Ewood is deafening. Kean is supposedly in India (strange timing. Who is negotiating the Jones deal? It isnt official yet, so no need for any noise. We do have our new deputy chief exec to negotiate, or perhaps JA.
