When we talk about Hoilett, lets remember that Hoilett did hardly play under Big Sam. It was first when Steve Kean took over we could see the flourish football from Hoilett and I believe he's thankful to Kean and will sign a new contract.

Best not selling then if that's the case.

Spot on

His talent this season could be massive for us when attacking....If we are only missing out on £1-2m, the place money alone could be worth it. Also should we improve, he may well be convinced later.

I used to think that Venky's didn't have a clue what they were doing, but now I think they know exactly what they are doing. They buy our club for 23 million pounds sell jones for 16 million , Samba is likely to go so they have got their money back straight away. They can spen some money on the acadamy and on young players to sell. Its not just publicity they want its more money...

I just pray Keano doesn't go on the charm offensive to Mrs D saying how he only needs say 50% of the Jones money to make us a top 10 side (top 1o being pretty downbeat for Steve) - getting him further and further in their good books.

Manchester United have asked for a second opinion on an injury Phil is carrying. I believe there is still a problem with the fee and nothing has been confirmed yet. Manchester City offered us £10,000,000 and two players and got turned down. Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool were all turned down also.

Not sure what the problem with the Manchester United deal is but they are trying to get over two stumbling blocks at this moment in time.

Whats your source BPF?

Is it the bad news that Jones has an injury???

I bet Nicko's bad news is Samba to Arsenal for £10m and Hoilett to Liverpool in a straight swap for Nabil El Zhar or someone as sh|t, as well as Keith Andrews getting a contract extension to add insult to injury.

Junior is having big doubts at the moment.

He was very friendly (described as brotherly, actually) with Jones and Fielding. With both of them now gone, he is said to be wondering whether or not it is time to move on as well.

I'm not being negative or hysterical here but a potential exodus is worrying me.

is this the bad news nico is refering to. might be good news if he stays

If Man Utd don't sign Jones then he is going to look like a right t**, coming back to us with his tail between his legs- want this over with soon so we can move on.

Im starting to believe that Venkys wants to make profit of the club in selling our best players and sing young players and develope them..

Jones had a clause, not Venky's fault. Samba has wanted out for some time, not Venky's fault - although the sacking of Sam did not help. Hoilett, with his dad, has been a bit dodgy for some time now.. although the signals we have seen from both Samba and especially Hoilett after we secured our PL status has been fairly good.

The bad news must surely be about one of the two other star players.. if it's Hoilett, my whole summer will be ruined. If it's Samba, I can live with the money we will get. But really we should just wait and see what this is, before losing the plot completely. Consider me out of the debate until Nicko breaks the news.

Sounds a bit queer to me. Ship out all the nonces and get some proper men back in the starting eleven. How old is Andy Todd's lad nowadays?

That doesn't class as bad news.

Bad news could be:

1. Bye Bye Big Chris.

2. Little Junior having doubts about signing a new deal.

I have to admit that super big rumour season as started so it is difficult to determine fact from fiction at the moment. I'm only posting stories from reliable people.

Jones played 80minutes only last Sunday. He played nearly every game since he returned from injury. If he wa carrying an injury we would have known.

Bayern Munich have joined Arsenal for Samba and will offer 14 million. Just What Ive Heard, could be wrong of course.

£30m for 2 centre halve's... will only be goood business if this time next year we are still a PL team

Well you won't like this...

I still love you....

The bad news is probably what BPF just posted.

The "good" news is that Kean will push out the boat to sign Efan Ekoku and Peter Fear with the funds received for the Jones and Hoilett transfers.

1. I thought Hoilett was back in Canada at the moment

2. Thought his big buddy at Rovers was Olsson ?

3. It is unsettling whenever people change - but this is a guy that went to England and then Germany for the sake of his career - he will do what he feels best for his career.
