Tim Southampton Rover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The bad news is probably what BPF just posted. The "good" news is that Kean will push out the boat to sign Efan Ekoku and Peter Fear with the funds received for the Jones and Hoilett transfers. He had an amazing picture in the Prem League sticker album.

Tugay-is-God Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 According to Radio Lancs Jones failed his medical.
Roberto Policano Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Is it an attitude problem with him Roberto? Lad seems to have some talent, but dreadful at Sampdoria, possible lad has taken his eye off the ball. 3 weeks back he was put to 8 Italian sides for an outright deal, think that says it all.
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 1. I thought Hoilett was back in Canada at the moment 2. Thought his big buddy at Rovers was Olsson ? Everything is rumours but I've heard Martin and Junior is good friends of the pitch as well.
bastionRover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Why oh why did the club not offer Holiett a new deal early on in the season? I remember every Rovers fan on this board and on the LT calling for it to be done. If he leaves, it will be a disaster.
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Jones still a rovers player according to Radio lancashire.
Paul Mellelieu Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Sounds a bit queer to me. Ship out all the nonces and get some proper men back in the starting eleven. How old is Andy Todd's lad nowadays? Grow up.
davulsukur Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Junior is having big doubts at the moment. He was very friendly (described as brotherly, actually) with Jones and Fielding. With both of them now gone, he is said to be wondering whether or not it is time to move on as well. I'm not being negative or hysterical here but a potential exodus is worrying me. Thought it was Olsson who junior was "brotherly" mates with

Paul Mellelieu Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 According to Radio Lancs Jones failed his medical. If true I feel very sorry for the lad.
BPF Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The bad news: http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/blackburn-rovers-fc/129648-blackburn-rovers-target-sebastian-larsson-set-for-sunderland-move.html Forgot to mention that. He told his agent: "I don't want to play for a club like Blackburn."
S15 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Forgot to mention that. He told his agent: "I don't want to play for a club like Blackburn." Judging by tonight's 'brotherly' revelations, I'm not surprised.
Backroom Tom Posted June 8, 2011 Backroom Posted June 8, 2011 If true I feel very sorry for the lad. I don't, not one bit.
Torgeir Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 There should be no doubt in Junior's head that the right place to be next season is at Ewood Park. He will play regularly for a full season, and if he does well, walk straight into a better team in a year from now. A lot of the news coming out are worrying to say the least, I wish I knew the strategy for this transfer window and for the coming few years but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. PR wise I can see the sense in signing RSC, but both Argentina and Brazil will have exciting young players displayed in the U20 World Cup later this summer. Snatch their captains before the tournament and that's good PR too How about some good news to cap the night off? Caicedo and Adebayor from City plus £10m for Jones would be great.
Mattyblue Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 If true I feel very sorry for the lad. Aye, every Rovers fans dream to play for Man United.
BPF Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The Radio Lancashire story is behind me. He failed the first one as I said (before they did). They are currently getting a second opinion. I think you can expect this to be sorted out.
jim mk2 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 If true I feel very sorry for the lad. Don't be so naive - United are trying to get the price down.
beerwins Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The bad news: http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/blackburn-rovers-fc/129648-blackburn-rovers-target-sebastian-larsson-set-for-sunderland-move.html I call that bullet dodged, seems like another Pederson to me, quality set piece taker but does little else, prone to sulks and blows hot and cold.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The bad news: http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/blackburn-rovers-fc/129648-blackburn-rovers-target-sebastian-larsson-set-for-sunderland-move.html Best news I've had all day, we've dodged a bullet there.
Grez Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Don't be so naive - United are trying to get the price down. tyre kicking
Lurid Coat Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Said an excited Steve Kean in an exclusive interview with the LT: "The lad's a bit special. He reminds me of a young Ariel Ortega"
