Don't blame him for leaving. Work collegue is friends with his family apparently a loan back to us could be on the cards. And as regards to signing shirts I don't think it's a big deal if Im honest, he is their new signing afterall, I wish him all the best.

Well thats the thing he isnt officially their signing atm. He is still a Blackburn player for however many hours that maybe.

Even though he hasn't officially signed?

To be fair, how much of a prick would he have looked if he had said "no, I'm not signing that" when the shirt is thrust in his face whilst signing stuff.

Not really he could just say sorry Im still officially a Blackburn player. The Manc fans would probably respect him for it aswell.

Sooner Larrson goes somewhere the better, nothing special about him at all in my opinion. Seemed a decent shout when on a free transfer but since we should have bags of cash to waste soon we'd be better off looking elsewhere, I don't even know where he'd play for us, not a winger or a central midfielder, he'd basically be a poor man's Pedersen which isn't a good thing.

I hear rumours about Jones coming back on loan this season?

That the reason to why its dragging out, is because United wont pay 16m if they loan him out to us.

Is there any truth in this Nicko?

I think it is 'possible' dragging because there is an investigation going on about the whole situation. Man U's conduct.

Sunderland have made a move and have space now in their squad. We are too slow as normal, should have wrapped it up by now.

N'Zogbia is over paid and over rated.

modes. :) this shows football is all about opinions. single handed kept wigan up... has carried them since they signed him. terrified many a defence.

there are issues with his attitude.. but overated and overpaid he is not!

Seem to remember Utd paid more than they wanted for Berbatov, stopped Spurs from reporting an illegal approach.

Would be sweet if we could do the sames with Jones.

All this is starting to leave a nasty taste!

LET says 16.5 million BBC say 17 mill, sky say 15 mill.

Phil Jones played 35 times for the first team yet is sold for 16 -17 million.

Vinjay hasnt deleted his account on twitter....he is now known as Unparochial Vinjay

Anyway forget him, forget jones....get thinking of potential to sign.

How about Kieran Gibbs for left back, or Kyle Naughton for Right back?

Also what do people think of M Diame from Wigan, he's still young isnt he??

Both full back are very good and with JA being Gibbs's agent might just help us. Naughton is good from what I have heard from a couple of SU fans.

I see some of you are not keen on James Collins, but he has been Villa best defender last season from what Villa fans have said to me. I think he would be a excellent signing for us and would be a good replacement for Jones. Chambers from Forest is a player with alot of potential.

Have rovers made any moves to sign anybody yet?

Does anybody know how Kean meeting with the owners gone?

He's on the brink of signing we need to be seen to be looking for new players. Has there been any info as to why baldy went to India as we only have 10 weeks to find about 6 players. Everywhere is quiet with rovers transfer targets do we know in kentaro and jerome the gnome where there as well

£3m Aurier

Doesn't seem likely if City really do want him

Aurier is quite good and looks suited to the English style of play. Would certainly be an improvement at right back and one for the future.

Lens were relegated this year, so the asking price may drop slightly and he will certainly be looking for a move away.

Better than Salgado!? If he can deputise for Salgado and let some of that experience rub off on him then surely he can turn into a good. I personally haven't seen him play but your knowledge of French football seems pretty good, Eddie.

Kentaro client?

I don't know who his agent is, but can find out, but I would imagine, like most young 'French' footballers, he will be handled by a relatively small-time agent.

He's better than Salgado is now. That isn't to say that he will be better than Salgado over the course of his career, that is unlikely, but Salgado's lack of pace can make him a weak spot for us at right back and Aurier certainly wouldn't have that problem. He's a bit rough around the edges, but reads the game well and has all of the necessary physical attributes to make it as a full-back/wing back. He is the sort of player that Wenger would love. If he could learn from Salgado then that might be the perfect solution.
