I hope that story about PJ is true... It could turn out to be an incredibly astute move on behalf of the owners. Both ManU & PJ want the move, so we can just sit there & demand as much cash as we want.

It's funny because every man & his dog thought that the deal was done... and we may just be about to have the last laugh!!!

I REALLY HOPE IT'S TRUE!!!!!!

Maybe that's why Jones deal hasn't gone through! Every time Utd ring up to ask where's the paperwork a recorded message tells them their call is important to us!

Even if this story is true if the player puts his foot down and demands a move then it still will probably go ahead. Might be able to squeeze some more money out of them though.

I just read that! Goodness me if that's true! But what kind of freak deal is that? "Yeah, if someone bid £16m you can talk, but you are still staying here... Sorry." Strangest deal I ever heard!

The part thats its so strange is what makes it believable, sounds just like something veknys would do..

If it's true, I absolutely LOVE them! It would be TOO funny.

Go large/supersize kind of deal. Hope it's true, he's worth £25m.

£25m is what I quoted to my 'friends' that support Utd/Liverpool et al. They thought I was off my rocker.

It's what he's worth to the club in my opinion - he's a very special player. Not many 18/19 year olds walk into a Premiership side and instantly become the best player on the field (at times).
