Roverdale Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I can see the swansea wingers giving us the run around when we play them They look a very very pacey side.

cravenblue Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Thats an understatement. Cant see salgado copong with dyer
iammikec Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I think Swansea are going to cause problems for a lot of clubs this year - full of pace going forward.
Roverdale Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Oh my god.. Sergio Aguero. He is going to be incredible this year.
Hekla Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Oh my god.. Sergio Aguero. He is going to be incredible this year. Wish we had a striker like that, even Dzeko would be nice.
beerwins Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Oh my god.. Sergio Aguero. He is going to be incredible this year. The pundit keeps saying how expensive he was, he was'nt as much as Torres and probably scored more than him in 30 mins of prem football.
neophox Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Just watched Man City - Swansea and Aguero was class! What a player!!! Have to say that even as a rovers supporter It was nice to watch that guy!
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2011 Backroom Posted August 15, 2011 Aguero could have made the challenge for this years title interesting
Hekla Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Aguero could have made the challenge for this years title interesting Yes and even Dzeko looked much improved from last season. Silva is also a sensational player, they have a chance this year for sure.
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2011 Backroom Posted August 15, 2011 Problem is I'm not sure if Mancini is good enough to challenge fergie
Majiball Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Happy days City's win moves us out of the bottom 3!!!
A cup of beans Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I think Swansea are going to cause problems for a lot of clubs this year - full of pace going forward. theyll get some hammerings. their defence isnt good enough. keeper had a stormer made 11 saves.. he cant be expected to play like superman every week. this seasons blackpool. same result too. relegated. on aguero. some debut. he's unplayable. providing mancini takes the hand-brake off at the right times, city will take some stopping. nasri to be added to that team too! bet the large number of city fans who left with 10 mins left are gutted at missing the 4th serves em right! do they leave the movies with 10 mins left.. or during sex do they... ??? you get the picture!
Hughesy Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 Annoyed with myself.....all day I was saying 4-0 Dzeko or Silva to score 1st but decided as it was Swanseas 1st game, it was a risk!! Muppet!!! Think im going to have to take a bet on Aguerro for top scorer in the league
roverandout Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 i honestly think city are good enough to go all the way in the champions league, the only team i can see stopping them is barca.
CheeseOnToast Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Yes and even Dzeko looked much improved from last season. Silva is also a sensational player, they have a chance this year for sure. I just think that Dzeko didn't partner well with Tevez, well, because no one partners well with Tevez. I rate him.
Plastic Head Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 The poo hasn't hit the fan here yet but it may well be coming soon... BWFC debt
SAS Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Tony Fernandes to complete QPR takeover today. Confusing as he is a huge west ham fan. However you can see the link through Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatorie. This guy has a huge huge company in air Asia.

alexanders Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Annoyed with myself.....all day I was saying 4-0 Dzeko or Silva to score 1st but decided as it was Swanseas 1st game, it was a risk!! Muppet!!! Think im going to have to take a bet on Aguerro for top scorer in the league Not PL, but betting. Had a slump of cash on red card yesterday for the EL Clasico. Guess I was the only one celebrated when Marcelo hacked down Fabregas
mogster Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 If we think we're being run badly it's worth reading this interview with Bill Kenwright of Everton. It covers football club debt and is a depressing read. We get a mention in there too! http://www.toffeetalk.com/index.php/topic/23091-bill-kenwright-blue-union-interview/ The format is quite hard to follow but the content is excellent. It makes you wonder why anyone would buy a football club - it's a thankless task. Apologies if this has been posted elswhere.
Exiled_Rover Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Love how Kenwright is saying he wouldn't want a 'Blackburn' in that interview. Tosser, I hope Everton crash and burn.
philipl Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Warnock being given £10m to spend by Fernandes in this window. Will be interesting to see who does best between Warnock nd Kean with similar war chests.
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Love how Kenwright is saying he wouldn't want a 'Blackburn' in that interview. Tosser, I hope Everton crash and burn. You may get your wish. Don't kill us plea.
Amo Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Not PL, but Pompey have signed Norwegian, Erik Huseklepp for £1.5m. He was linked with us a little ago, and was the guy who starred in Pedersen & Riise's cringeworthy TV ad:
