Yep,40 Million over four years just to have DHL on their training kit only! :o

Lets face it..the rest of us are stuffed.

It's sick and the best argument for the European super league yet. 25m buys a club which was a founder member of both top divisions and has a proud history of events as long as your arm whereas a few seasons of flaccid advertising space with MU costs almost twice as much. Boot them and the other 3/4 Billy Big Times off to play soulless fixtures with Barca, Real and Inter every week so that we can get back to football proper.

In the meantime lets kick off with a campaign amongst fans of proper football clubs to avoid using DHL (and EON) wherever possible. There are more proper fans and abu's out there than plastics thats for sure. Not sure if it caused any ripples anywhere but I never bought a thing with Sharp on it for years and a little later switched my phone to o2 and away from Vodaphone.

I have just read this transcript- an interview with Bill Kenwright, it is an eye opener.

Love the line “You would want Blackburn Football Club? "if you call that buying a football club; Blackburn"

Based on that interview without a billionaire Everton will be having a major sale this time next year and dont expect to see Moyes there at that time too.

i prefer the line.. Simon, “Well the proof is in the pudding; in five years time they may have Championships and we may be sitting here saying we want a Blackburn scenario.

as for kenright slagging us.. people in glass houses and all that.

wonder how much of his own money kenwright has actually ploughed in ?? hmmmmm

he should keep his mouth shut and sort out his own club. but i doubt that he wants to sort it out by selling everton.

He does want to sell. Everyone wants him to sell, there's just so little interest as the investors are waiting for Everton to be driven into the ground a la Man City a few years back so they can buy for less.

I have said frequently no one with any sense would want to buy an English Prem League club. Just a money pit. Buying English is for daft nouveau riche Johnny foreigners with more money than sense. Like our lot frrom Pune the term 'Rags to Riches and back again in three generations' appears a perfect fit.

Bolton look a lot worse this season, brilliant. As crap as we are now, i think Swansea, Norwich, QPR, Wigan and perhaps Bolton are just as bad.

That is a seriously good Liverpool side which is going to get a lot better when Kenny has got them better integrated going forwards and Gerrard is back. Bolton's 4-0 at QPR is more an indication of what Bolton are capable of against clubs in the bottom half.

The 4-0 against QPR was a freak result, theyve lost Elmander and Sturridge, Cahill will be gone. Bolton will be involved in the relegation battle, im almost positive.
