Rovermatt Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Just when you thought things at Anfield couldn't go lower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sPgGoe0ygI&feature=g-logo&context=G2f07f5eFOAAAAAAAAAA

Stuart Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Disgraceful "human beings". Obviously you can't hear the trigger incident itself but the Luis Suarez song immediately afterwards is very telling. I know Liverpool FC want a return to the '70s and '80s but I assumed they meant the football. Disgusting.
Amo Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 So apparently one fan was racist yet the fans were chanting Suarez songs after the incident?
Rovermatt Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 No doubt the members of the Anfield cult will claim the two things were totally unconnected. Dicks.
BuckyRover Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 So apparently one fan was racist yet the fans were chanting Suarez songs after the incident? and booed him for the rest of the match.
Audax Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Let's not forget for the record, we had 2 other instances of "fan abuse" this past week, right?? Telford vs. Wrexham (story: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2082352/Telford-fans-chanted-Gary-Speeds-death.html ), Gary Speed chants and also in another match, the player, Sharp for the Doncaster Rovers was subjected to abuse from Barnsley fans ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2081460/Barnsley-fans-accused-vile-Billy-Sharp-son-chants.html ). Were there not fan abuse incidences in all this as well but I just saw the headline and tried to put it out of my mind. Are these incidences as bad or worse? One wonders? Suarez's view: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2081959/Luis-Suarez-wont-appeal-ban-Full-Suarez-statement.html There's his side. Wigan out of the FA Cup to DiCanio's Swindon Town. Interesting. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16372054.stm
Backroom Tom Posted January 8, 2012 Backroom Posted January 8, 2012 Paul Scholes on the United bench today, yes the retired Paul Scholes. Get Tugay on the phone
BRFC1995 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 turned it off referee ruined the game, be suprised if quite a number have'nt also turned it off pretty sure even itv will be ###### of with refereeing like that. Would very much like to know what team Foy grew up supporting, amazed if it is'nt united.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I guess I must be in the minority in thinking it was the correct decision? You can't go in two footed like that in front of the ref, if it had hit nani's standing leg there would be a good chance of a break.

I guess I must be in the minority in thinking it was the correct decision? You can't go in two footed like that in front of the ref, if it had hit nani's standing leg there would be a good chance of a broken leg. Technically you are right. But in these kind of games there tends to be (rightly or wrongly) a bit more common sense applied. City could be back in it now though! 1-3
Waggy76 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Manchester United will always get the dodgy refereing decisions , I would like to ask Foy would you have sent a ManU player off after 12 mins at home ??? We know the answer Manchester Utd have always got 14 men when needed ...Ask Wigan and now Man City in a fortnight !!
Stuart Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Looks like City are going to have their own Istanbul.
Stuart Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Phil Jones is looking a distinctly average player lately.
Backroom DE. Posted January 8, 2012 Backroom Posted January 8, 2012 Can't believe utd wheeled Scholes out of retirement... makes you wonder whether the Glazer's are finished funding their transfers.
Waggy76 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Can't believe utd wheeled Scholes out of retirement... makes you wonder whether the Glazer's are finished funding their transfers. You have a point , very odd ...
Backroom Tom Posted January 8, 2012 Backroom Posted January 8, 2012 It wasn't a red for me in a million years but when we talk about united decisions remember we got a pen there and the ref waved away a close one for them, luckily we had a decent ref for once
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 It wasn't a red for me in a million years but when we talk about united decisions remember we got a pen there and the ref waved away a close one for them, luckily we had a decent ref for once I've seen Rovers players get red for less than that. Tackling is no longer part of the game.
LeChuck Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Can't believe utd wheeled Scholes out of retirement... makes you wonder whether the Glazer's are finished funding their transfers. I think Tom Cleverley will be a mainstay of the their midfield when he's fit again, so they probably just wanted someone to tide them over until he returns. Same with Darren Fletcher as well. Phil Jones is another option when other defenders return, and they also have Anderson and Carrick. Makes perfect sense to me really, he didn't look ready for retirement last season. It's difficult for a club of Man Utd's standard to find temporary players that are good enough.
BuckyRover Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Stewart Downing arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in a Yarm nightclub.
Pete1981 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Neil Warnock now 1/10 next manager to go @Skybet after a number of bets in the last couple of days http://goo.gl/KiPa8 #QPR
Amo Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Phil Jones is looking a distinctly average player lately. Nah, world class etc.
Mattyblue Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Neil Warnock now 1/10 next manager to go @Skybet after a number of bets in the last couple of days http://goo.gl/KiPa8 #QPR Read a post on a QPR forum saying; 'Mark Hughes isn't fit to lace Warnock's boots'.
John Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 "@talkSPORTDrive: I'm hearing Mark Hughes to replace Warnock at QPR"
