SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 the results have gone rovers way today!!! bolton lost wigan draw wba lost qpr beaten by wolves.
thenodrog Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Wolves winning is a disaster. Our squad is demoralised now I feel. I said this would happen earlier in the season. Despite a lot of huffing and puffing I saw the signs v NUFC and today will have finished em off. the results have gone rovers way today!!! bolton lost wigan draw wba lost qpr beaten by wolves. Hope springs eternal in the human breast...... Alexander Pope
Bluefudge Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 could have been much worse. Still in the mix, WBA keep dipping and then picking up... Still perm 3 from 7
Backroom Tom Posted February 4, 2012 Backroom Posted February 4, 2012 could have been much worse. Still in the mix, WBA keep dipping and then picking up... Still perm 3 from 7 I see it now as 2 from 3 and then us
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 We're down, pick the other two from the rest.
Ricky Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Yet again we go into a must win match against QPR on the weekend. We're still in with a chance of survival if we can string a couple of wins together, big ask I know.
Backroom DE. Posted February 4, 2012 Backroom Posted February 4, 2012 Even if we win against QPR I don't see us surviving. It's Wigan, us and one of Bolton/Wolves... could be either tbh. If I had to guess I'd probably say Bolton as, much like us, they never seem to be able to turn a corner and get a good run going.
Audax Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Got it off the newsfeed earlier today. This week, the Wolves owner, article said a "Scouser" went into the Wolves lockerroom over the past week after their loss to Liverpool 3-0 and gave the Wolves goalkeeper a chewing out, maybe some other Wolves players too and Mick McCarthy came to the defence of the players against the Wolves owner. Isn't that an odd story and if only it would have happened to the Rovers... this story was in the back of my mind, I didn't know what to expect but the Wolves sure pulled off a big one and that was not totally surprising in light of the story. The bad thing is, is I guess, Kean does not have his back to the wall like McCarthy and others. Rovers are cutting it too close, even if the Rovers put together a good run, if Wolves, QPR, Bolton all do fair, it will be difficult to get past them. Martinez likewise barely has any kind of a threat to him being fired. Sunderland won today again, vs. Stoke, Sunderland must be sky-high.
Stuart Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Kean must be under the least pressure of any manager in the league.
Plastic Head Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice that see that nasty piece of work Taylor getting stretchered off. Not quite instant karma from Weds. Well done Warny. Lucky barcodes one up again...Bent should have 3 by now.
LeChuck Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice that see that nasty piece of work Taylor getting stretchered off. Not quite instant karma from Weds. Well done Warny. Lucky barcodes one up again...Bent should have to 3 by now. Bitter much? I would hope that, throughout our troubled period, Rovers fans will maintain their dignity. Unlike the ###### just written there
Hughesy Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Why is Taylor nasty? Looked like a broken ankler or leg, not good and surely wouldnt wish injury on any player? As for Newcastle - Ba scores again! Bargain of the season
LeChuck Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 As for Newcastle - Ba scores again! Bargain of the season And I forgot to put him back in my dream team after the African Nations!
Mattyblue Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 The Demba's will be some strikeforce and we were linked with them both. Still, we dodged a bullet with that that Ba- 'AVOID' was the advice of our former resident journo, was it not?
roverandout Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 newcastle are going places, got some really good players now, ba, cisse, arfa, cabaye, krul collicini, gutierez and tiote would walk into most teams in the premiership!!
Gav Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 With a bit of ambition from the owners we could easily have seen both Cisse and Ba playing in blue n white. Sad really.
Amo Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 With a bit of ambition from the owners we could easily have seen both Cisse and Ba playing in blue n white. Sad really. Modeste and the 'Other Olsson twin' don't do it for ya, Gav?
Backroom Tom Posted February 5, 2012 Backroom Posted February 5, 2012 Goal of the season for me at Chelsea, stunning cross from Torres finished by an unstoppable volley from Mata. That is going to be some partnership, if I'm correct the celebration is a religous thing isn't it?
BuckyRover Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 newcastle are going places, got some really good players now, ba, cisse, arfa, cabaye, krul collicini, gutierez and tiote would walk into most teams in the premiership!! They deserve it though. Passionate bunch the Geordies. this is in spite of Mike Ashley apparently.
Stuart Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Goal of the season for me at Chelsea, stunning cross from Torres finished by an unstoppable volley from Mata. Good cross but goal of the season? Nah, Pedersen did a couple of those years ago. No-one blinked twice - same as when Tugay did something similar from a corner from further out.
