Backroom DE. Posted February 5, 2012 Backroom Posted February 5, 2012 That is going to be some partnership, if I'm correct the celebration is a religous thing isn't it? It's the way Muslims pray/thank God(Allah).
speeeeeeedie Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 No mention of Chelsea-Man U yet. It was a cracking game. It wouldn't surprise me if AVB gets the hoof. Kean on the other hand will carry on regardless, for reasons known to very few.
thenodrog Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Not PL news however important weeks ahead for Rangers - http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Craig-Whyte-Rangers-facing-toughest-week-in-club-history-article861701.html Just 18000 at Ibrox today!
Audax Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Article on the Chelsea/MUFC game, don't know if AVB's point is valid, only saw the last 15 minutes. http://www.soccerway.com/news/2012/February/05/villas-boas-fuming-after-dubious-penalty-calls/ But it struck me that Chelsea may have been a bit unlucky, that last goal for Man Utd? I think they could have defended better but what a cross by Giggs to Chicharito who headed it in.
Hughesy Posted February 7, 2012 Author Posted February 7, 2012 Bad news for Wolves - Frimpong out for 6-9 months Not such a great signing now!
nellybc Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Bad news for Wolves - Frimpong out for 6-9 months Not such a great signing now! No, but unlike bruno and myles they can send him back and won't be paying for him!
Stuart Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Phew well that's a relief. Redknapp cleared of tax dodge
Hughesy Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 No doubt he will get the England job now....gutted!
Stuart Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 No doubt he will get the England job now....gutted! I'd say it's nailed on. The only question is whether 'arry will get a shot at Euro 2012...
thenodrog Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Nothing surer imo. How many times with the likes of RFW, Cantona, Gerrard, Terry etc have we seen that top people in football actually operate above the law of the land?
gumboots Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I'd say it's nailed on. The only question is whether 'arry will get a shot at Euro 2012... Hope so. Means I have even more reason not to watch it. and just think, provided they are English, he gets to play all those players he fancies but spurs don't buy for him. Loath this man almost as much as Kean. don't know why but he looks as crooked as possible. and yes, I do know he didn't do it acording to a jury of his peers. still doesn't stop him looking dodgy.
Backroom DE. Posted February 8, 2012 Backroom Posted February 8, 2012 Not surprised Redknapp was let go. I may not like Arry but personal feelings aside the case against him was weak. It was a waste of time taking him to court. In comparison to the amounts he earned then and continues to earn the amount he was supposed to have swindled was tiny. I don't see how a motive could be established for him to risk so much for such a comparitively small sum of money.

The only logical counter that I could come up with for that is if this account was one of many, but was the only one that they could pin on him. Otherwise, as you say, it would be a ludicrous risk for very little reward.
ABBEY Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Think I'm going to set a spaniel account off and see if it the CSa off my back.
rovers11 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Just reading Nicko's tweets. Could be a big news story about to break..
TugaysMarlboro Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Bye Bye Fabio. Who's gonna be given it now?
bob fleming Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Bye Bye Fabio. Who's gonna be given it now? Well they need someone who likes to travel, works long hours and has a long list of excuses. If being a thinker and someone who has the sympathy of the press is also high on the FA's criteria then I think we have their man. Sorry 'Arry. Not this time.

You never cease to rise to the occasion.
Audax Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 African Nations Cup results. Upstarts Zambia defeat Ghana in semi-finals, the Elephants of Ivory Coast edge Mali. Both games with 1-0 scorelines. Zambia vs. Ivory Coast in the final, believe that will be Sunday. http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2012/02/08/africa/africa-cup-of-nations/zambia/ghana/1221449/ http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2012/02/08/africa/africa-cup-of-nations/mali/cote-divoire/1221450/ I'm tellin' ya from what I know, this Zambia has come out of nowhere to do all this, I think they win again. I don't think Zambia is a traditional football power out of Africa.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Couldn't find the other football/world football thread but does anyone else remember Adriano? Corinthians are keeping their striker Adriano "detained" inside the team's hotel in an effort to force him to lose weight.
