Stuart Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 It's not for me but I do feel he made some bad changes in their game. But he was the club manager, sounds like other clubs, Inter are already interested in him. If Boas constricted his selection, he might still be in there. You did that on purpose, didn't you?

arbitro Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Sessegnon and Cattermole sent off for Sunderland, I know they have a cup game but Sess should miss the game V us but Cattermoles may have been a second yellow, not sure. 2 massive players for them though. Sessegnon will miss the game (it should be the third of his three game ban). They will have a league game next week and are at Everton in the FA Cup the week after. We play them on March 20 th. Ordinarily Cattermole would get a one game ban but I'm sure that it was (at least) his second sending off this season. If this is correct then extra games come into play but I'm not entirely sure how many. Edit just checked and it appears that he hasn't yet had any red cards this season so it should be just the one match.
m1st Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Both got straight reds; and are banned for 3 [sessignon] and 4 matches [Cattermole] respectively. Given the M O'N effect, though, I'd bet that won't make too great a difference to the team they bring to Ewood.
LeChuck Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Given the M O'N effect, though, I'd bet that won't make too great a difference to the team they bring to Ewood. I think the immediate effect that O'Neill had is beginning to wear off slightly. Whilst it will still be a tough game, our chances have undeniably improved by a significant amount with Cattermole and Sessegnon missing. If McLean could make himself unavailable too then we'd be sorted.
Gally Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 The fact that they'll have 2 days off before the game and we'll have 10 should work in our favour. Much better chance of 3 points here than against Villa IMO.
Backroom Tom Posted March 5, 2012 Backroom Posted March 5, 2012 Agreed also they are now likely to set into comfortable mode as there is no pressure on them

Amo Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Liverpool's third consecutive defeat since 2003. 7th in the table and £100m+ splashed by the manager. But will Saint Kenny come under any pressure? Will he ****!
Backroom DE. Posted March 11, 2012 Backroom Posted March 11, 2012 They're no better than they were under Roy. In fact, considering the money Kenny has had to spend, you'd have to say they're actually doing far worse.
Backroom Tom Posted March 11, 2012 Backroom Posted March 11, 2012 Roy Hodgson PL record - P17 W6 D4 L7 22 points. Sacked "King" Kenny last 17 PL games - P17 W5 D6 L6 21 points. Messiah.

Clitherover Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Can't believe Swansea beat City, is this now City choking under the pressure? I think the red scum will nick it again this year...
Mattyblue Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Zb5obN_Hfg Tough being a City fan.
Exiled_Rover Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I'd cry too if we'd spent all that money and still not won the league.
Rovermatt Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I really wish United would just (Please don't use that word again) off. Arrgghhh. Can't believe Swansea beat City, is this now City choking under the pressure? I think the red scum will nick it again this year... I think so too. All while playing Giggs and Scholes in midfield and Jonny Evans at the back. Unbelievable.
Backroom DE. Posted March 11, 2012 Backroom Posted March 11, 2012 Honestly don't know how Norwich are so high in the table. Has baffled me for months... such an average team. Wigan are dominating them.
Amo Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Why do we care about City again? They have spent sickening amounts of money trying to buy success, which has seen false comparisons with our own '95 triumph. And it will also be one more name on the PL trophy. More power to Utd, tbh.
RevidgeBlue Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I fear another ManUre title win this year. Citeh have the vastly superior squad imo but whereas United have Ferguson at the helm they have Mancini and Brian Kidd. Nuff said. I'm surprised they managed to lift an FA Cup to be honest.

More power to Utd, tbh. My sentiments exactly. I like being in a group of 4 and don't feel the need for the "breath of fresh air" that sickeningly rich City would bring. Let's keep it stale and closed up - I don't like Utd but you can't argue that they have been made to work for it this year and will probably still outperform their neighbours over a 38 game season, therefore deserving the title.
Backroom Tom Posted March 11, 2012 Backroom Posted March 11, 2012 I hope for united to win the title which feels wrong but the lesser of two evils this season
Stuart Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I hope for united to win the title which feels wrong but the lesser of two evils this season A bit like putting up with Kean or being relegated!
Backroom DE. Posted March 11, 2012 Backroom Posted March 11, 2012 I personally don't give a toss who wins the 4 team mini-league at the top of the table, I just want us to survive.
Hughesy Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 United to win it for me.....Keep it to 4 winners, and shut that cocky lot up. £500m and still no premier league trophy would be sweet
