Who cares?

I had the time of my life and I bet the Ciy fans are as well.

Judging by the City fans I've spoken to you certainly wouldn't think so.

Last day of the season/cup final then fair enough, I'm sure we've all done it or been close, but one result in March? Worrying.

Maybe he bet his mortgage on a City win?

I agree with you.

Good luck to them, it will end eventually.

'Kenny Dalglish has launched an impassioned defence of his record at Liverpool, claiming he should not be judged by the club's league position alone and that kit deals are as important as victories.'

Fair enough, Keano has the same philosophy (well apart from being able to attract sponsors).

Honestly don't know how Norwich are so high in the table. Has baffled me for months... such an average team. Wigan are dominating them.

All 10 outfield players work hard, non stop running, chasing every ball. I agree they are crap and without big investment in players they will find the 2nd season much harder.

I want City to win it, I like Mancini, especially the way he has handled Tevez, as long as Liverpool or Tottenham never get it again I will be happy.

How he's handled Tevez?

He should have demanded that the club sacked him and made an example of a greedy barsteward. A club like City have the money to do it, so they should have taken a stance against him, and simply sacked him, and tried to get a ban on him from UEFA.

But if tevez comes up with the goals to win the league is Mancini justified?

Justified? Mancini said he NEVER wanted to see Carlos Tevez play for the club again.....pretend all he want, but he didnt want Tevez to come back EVER. He should have stood up and publicly said that Tevez should be sacked.

The difference in run-ins makes the red scum VERY strong favourites for the title.

Plus I just don't see United losing at the Council House- Ferguson will be all out to revenge that 6-1 at OT.

I keep thinking '94 (albeit we didn't lead the League for long) with City keeping it a two horse race but United to prevail.

City probably need another season and to sign RVP.

I don't see the need for VP at City. They have Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli they have enough top strikers.

For me the change they need to make is the man at the top. Mancini is a very good manager, but always falls just short of being the very best. Inter never got past the group stage, but always won the league, abliet Italy is not what it was. Mourinho walked in and they soared. I don't think City will win it and having looked at United team, it really shows the difference having one of the basolute best running things brings to the table.

If I was in charge at City I'd be trying to recruit a Manager of world class pedigree.

How would you prise him from Ewood?

Thinking of my chums on Merseyside tonight watching the Derby, Toffee win takes them above Liverpool. Lost 5 from 8, is this King Kenny thing working ?

It definitely isn't working. Not that anyone should really have expected it to - Dalglish was out of the game for a very long time, his managerial appointments after he managed us were a disaster. It was far more likely he was going to fail than succeed, especially with the horrific transfer policy Liverpool have built upon.

I think Kenny will get more time than any manager (bar our own Keano) due to his power at Liverpool... but I expect him to walk either in the summer or at some point next season citing stress, FA corruption/conspriacies, etc.

Oh aye, they do work hard, but usually you need more than that to stay up. I suppose it's the overall poor quality of the league this year that allows them to be where they are. I agree that they'll get found out next season barring major investment - I imagine Swansea will as well.

Did anyone see the stats on Moyes last night on Sky (before the Arsenal game), net investment figures, very impressive.

Saw something in the paper today...£2 million is it? He's one of the best managers in the league, I can't believe top clubs don't go in for him.

His squad looked really tired and in desperate need of refreshment in the first half of the season. The way he juggled his squad and traded players to freshen it up is so impressive.

Getting the likes of Jelavic, Pienaar, Gibson and Donovan without any net spend in the window has saved their season and got them back to the level they were at a few years ago when they were on the tails of Champions League clubs.

You forgot Royston Drenthe, he would have done Rovers a bit of good.

I've read many a post on Everyon forums saying 'how it's time for a change 'he's tactically inept' and so on.

What more can he possibly do?

I think he signed in the summer as one of their few pieces of transfer business.

Proof that some fans are never satisfied, regardless of which club they're at. He's spent more money than some realise, but I still don't think you can point to another manager as successful over the last 10 years with the resources available.
