jim mk2 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I feel sorry for Wolves fans who like us are having to suffer for the decisions of idiotic owners. Steve Morgan should stick to building his grotty little houses and leave the football to people such as Mick McCarthy who know what they are doing.

gumboots Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Pardon? Weren't there calims on both sides about who had turned down who for the job. Presumably what he means is that there is now ill-feeling after that so Bruce wouldn't take the job even if offered it now.

Hughesy Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 Are they not only 3 points behind though? With the goal difference, you may aswell say 4
Beta Ray Bill Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Connor has claimed he's seen enough to suggest Wolves will stay up after watching the 5-0 mauling against United. This is hot on the heels that he believed they were every bit as good Rovers. Kean needs to get on the phone to him, as there's a real danger Connor will start to make him sane.
Stuart Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 He had a mild case of Keanitis. It's where you get a player sent off and are allowed to mentally deduct 4 goals from the result and claim a tight defeat. Apparently they matched United for the first 20 minutes and Stephen Fletcher had the best chance of the game. Until that point, of course. Feel a little sorry for Connor, he's so out of his depth but lacks Kean's killer delivery with the BS. He might have more self-belief if he had an agent who was advising the owners.
John Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 They were debating yesterday who talks more shyte, Connor or Kean. I still can't believe Wolves appointed him considering their situation.

Oh and from his Twitter: 'last time I checked, Steve Kean was still in a job. Remind me how many games Paul Ince lasted at Blackburn' Nowt to do with the fact that the club is under different ownership? He's an 'award winning journalist', says it all about the standards of journalism in this country.
Mattyblue Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Amended... Phew, glad it wasn't something else I was viewing this morning

A manager should be judged on his ability and the results under him yet for some inexplicable reason he wants us to judge a manager by the colour of his skin.

There aren't many decent football journos about. Henry Winter is excellent, Paddy Barclay is ok if you ignore his wish to do away with physical contact in the game, the rest range from the laughable to the odious. Some are both. Oliver Holt is simply a prick.
braddock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I know I know, this is ambitious posting, but Villa have Arsenal away, Chelsea at home then Liverpool away in the next three fixtures. A win against Bolton puts us two points behind Villa's current points haul. Just saying. Aston Villa Fixtures March 2012 Arsenal v Aston Villa Sat 24 Mar 15:00 Aston Villa v Chelsea Sat 31 Mar 15:00 April 2012 Liverpool v Aston Villa Sat 7 Apr 15:00 Aston Villa v Stoke Mon 9 Apr 17:30 Man Utd v Aston Villa Sun 15 Apr 16:00

It's sensationalist drivel and having been in his company over the years, I dont believe he truly believes it! He's a gifted writer and a great fella.
Backroom DE. Posted March 21, 2012 Backroom Posted March 21, 2012 Holt seems to believe that every time a black manager is criticised, regardless of his results, it's racism. He also conveniently ignores the fact fans were calling for Kean's head far more viciously than Ince. The fact Kean remains doesn't mean it was the wrong decision to sack Ince, as he's inferring. Any simpleton would see that. Holt isn't stupid, regardless of some of the nonsense he spouts, so I tend to agree with Zac that he probably doesn't believe what he's saying - he just has an agenda.
Amo Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 It's ironic how liberalists such as Dolt don't recognize the flagrant hypocrisy of their beliefs.
rovers11 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Don't be surprised if QPR pull off a shock win tonight.
Waggy76 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Don't be surprised if QPR pull off a shock win tonight. I will be surprised , all the pressure is on them , Liverpool can be erratic but possess players who will hurt QPR ... QPR are all at sea at the back best they can hope for is a draw ,,What do I know ??? Not a lot !! Just a gut feeling and wishful thinking...
braddock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Indeed. Upsets happen, and if they were to win that's exactly what will have happened. And upsets happen rarely, hence why they are upsets.
JWUpper Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Tevez on the bench for city...could be interesting.
braddock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Embarrassing for Mancini no matter how he will choose to spin it.
Majiball Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Embarrassing for Mancini no matter how he will choose to spin it. Why?
thenodrog Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Interesting to say the least to hear Braddock making adverse comments on managerial spin.
