Miker Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Dalglish screwed up by buying too many bang average players for exhorbitant prices. One of his best buys proved to be a huge disruption to the squad as well. Looking at that squad they had out against Newcastle, is anyone really surprised they are losing games?

Backroom DE. Posted April 2, 2012 Backroom Posted April 2, 2012 £35m on Andy Carroll... still boggles my mind. Meanwhile Newcastle have Ba and Cisse for £10m. It doesn't even matter that Liverpool got £50m for Torres, wasting £35m of it on Carroll is still idiocy of the highest order. The bloke's a young Duncan Ferguson but less prolific.

thenodrog Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I've thought for some time Dalglish doesn't look well. He should never have gone anywhere near that job, it was always going to end in tears. You are right. To me he looks nearer 70 than 60. He's turned into a little old man. He must need the brass.
Waggy76 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Trust me Evertonians are loving the reds 'crash and burn'. My son in law and many friends are chuffed the way it's going for 'old whiskey face' I some how doubt they will be after the Semi Finals , Liverpool to win (the bigger the game ) already won League Cup and possibly FA cup ...Moyes has won nothing !!
bradeagle Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I fancy an Everton v Spurs final. I wonder what Liverpool fans think will happen 'next season'
Waggy76 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I fancy an Everton v Spurs final. I wonder what Liverpool fans think will happen 'next season' God knows !!!! Will be an interesting game ...Could also be Moyes swansong , he must be in with a shout of Spurs or Chelsea... I think if Liverpool lose to Everton , there will be mass hysteria for a Benitiez return like there was for Kenny .. Kenny should have retired when he left Rovers .Go out at the top !!!!
bradeagle Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Yeah he should have Waggy! Also if he has had to resign twice through the stress of the job in the 90s - leaving two posts when he was champions both times - surely its not a good option to try and drag a dead giant past 5 or 6 clubs who have far superior players! another 22 years they will be waiting!
roversmum Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Hold on hes won a trophy this season is that not good enough. That and the fact that they won't be relegated and in a top ten position would be good enough for me. However, I'm not a Liverpool fan, thank goodness!!!
Amo Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 That and the fact that they won't be relegated and in a top ten position would be good enough for me. However, I'm not a Liverpool fan, thank goodness!!! Liverpool were a top four side under Benitez with CL success and came closest to winning the title in 08/09. Since then they have slumped down the table and will lucky to grab a Europa league spot, despite Dalglish spending over £100m to bring back the glory days. So yeah, I wouldn't be a happy bunny in their situation either.

The wheels come off for a lot of managers, look at Wenger? And he might even return. There don't seem to be that many managerial candidates around either that can manage at that level. Not disputing what you say but these are other factors too. Hodgson, Benitez too had big problems there.
Ricky Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Liverpool have not appealed the red card or Reina which could be good for us. As long as their number 2 doesn't perform like ours did when Robbo was out.

However, he can always blame the crazy owners.
adopted scouser Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Why is Valencia left unmarked all the time ?
Amo Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Why is Valencia left unmarked all the time ? This better have a great punchline.
BRFC1995 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Why is Valencia left unmarked all the time ? because are our defence is rubbish, statement was only ever going haunt us. cheerio premier league, prior to last 18 months it was great. will be sorely missed
roverandout Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 p.c gone mad, some people just complain for the hell of it because they have nothing better to do. Now wheres my pen? has anyone got steve kean's address?
Stuart Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Chelsea in the CL semis against Barca. Hope they win - maybe they'll rest a shedload of player for the final and give us an easy ride on the final PL day!
bradeagle Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Funny isnt it how a few people complain because they are easily offended and get an apology and when thousands complain/protest about something major they are made out to be unreasonable uneducated morons who dont know whats best for their own club. All because no one can (or wants to) see past the smear campaign.
Backroom DE. Posted April 5, 2012 Backroom Posted April 5, 2012 BBC apologise for Murray's MOTD comment This country. WTF. Pathetic. There really are some sad acts out there, and now twitter has taken off every boring arse with an opinion can feign outrage over trivial nonsense.

Backroom DE. Posted April 5, 2012 Backroom Posted April 5, 2012 Bruce blames hatred for axe No, it's 'cos you are bloody useless. Hmm, where are all the articles condemning Sunderland fans for this "abuse"? Or do you need your agent to be Jermone Anderson in order to get sympathetic pieces inserted into the media?
