Amo Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Listening to Di Matteo talking about Ivanovich's punch not being violent conduct. If you haven't seen it, there is a clue in the word 'punch' but it was off the ball and aimed at the base of his opponent's spine. 3 games isn't long enough and yet Di M is managing to appear hard done by. Can't believe they appalled it - although not the least bit surprised that the FA didn't extend the ban. I can't think of the last time I thought the FA got something right in these situations. Di Matteo's learning fast.
Audax Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Where the clubs have been so close most of this season and you have about 4 clubs within points of each other, I think in that, "luck" can play a part, didn't they say Tevez scored some goal that should have been offside for West Ham a few years ago? When the clubs are so close, yes, I think a break can turn it here and there but on the other hand, a club has to take the bull by the horns as in Wigan, losing to Chelsea barely and with a bad call according to many and then defeating Manchester United the other day.
Stuart Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 didn't they say Tevez scored some goal that should have been offside for West Ham a few years ago? You sure you're a Rovers fan??
Audax Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 That was about 4 years ago....I know there was something dodgy about that goal.
Stuart Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Was just about to settle down in front of the box to watch the FA Cup semi until I realised it was only available on PPV. The current FA buffoons don't deserve to be the custodians of football in this country.
BRFC1995 Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 watching the semi, it sounds like cartman doing the commentary it cracking me up the random shouts of "gay"
adopted scouser Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Watching it right now One nil to the toffees after comedy defending

To be fair Stu, at least half of the FA Cup coverage has been with either Sky or ESPN for the last 20+ years.
Backroom Tom Posted April 14, 2012 Backroom Posted April 14, 2012 Tevez makes it 1-0 city Earlier he was booked for diving but he was caught, hopefully players stop going down so dramatically, his foot was stood on yet he flew 5 feet in the air

Face it Tom, the whole game is riddled with overpaid ponces, trouble is we're all addicted !
Stuart Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 ESPN? To be fair Stu, at least half of the FA Cup coverage has been with either Sky or ESPN for the last 20+ years. Not at this stage and not exclusively, surely. The semis - at least - should be free for every to watch.
Mattyblue Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Not at this stage and not exclusively, surely. The semis - at least - should be free for every to watch. Oh I agree, but I'm pretty sure it has been like this for years. Aye thinking about it, when we played Arsenal at Cardiff, twas only on Sky.
adopted scouser Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Had to be Carroll didn't it ? 2-1 Liverpool
Gav Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Wanted an Everton win really after all thats gone on at Anfield this season, the club and manager have shown a complete lack of class and Suarez should have been sacked. Pity.
BRFC1995 Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 now might be the time to ask moyes for an assessment of kean.....when he is'nt calm, may get a real answer

Pity. They'll win the cup then hopefully Kenny retires in summer with his reputation intact
Gav Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Kenny retires in summer with his reputation intact Kenny soiled his reputation during the Suarez saga Tom, but I understand the sentiment.
Backroom Tom Posted April 14, 2012 Backroom Posted April 14, 2012 To be honest Gav I think he's been an embarassment all season with the way he's conducted himself but he may want to go out on a win knowing he isn't up to task
roverandout Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 i'd have king kenny back at rovers anyday of the week
Audax Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Saddened to hear this Italian player collapsed and died, his name was Morosini: http://www.soccerway.com/news/2012/April/14/italian-matches-postponed-after-morosini-death/ He played in Serie B, he played for Livorno whom was in Serie A last year I believe. Rest in peace. My thoughts go out to his family. All league matches postponed.
sentient Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Watch all the collaborators try to get on-side! Not in my house! (Please don't use that word again) THE MEDIA! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US! probably get a ban for this again ... cheers community managers (pafetic)
G Somerset Rover Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Can we ban this fool who writes cryptic messages in every topic? He's like an unfunny Cantona.
