John Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Came across this on Everton - http://www.sos1878.co.uk/everton-fans/its-all-over-for-kenwright-and-moyes/?
Stuart Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Well boo hoo, Everton can't afford to compete with the big boys, and they deserve success because they have a lot of fans. Really, my heart bleeds. I can't imagine the pain of worrying about not finishing 7th. Football is finished for the non-Champions League teams. The sooner they franchise off a European Suoer League, the better - not that we'll benefit from it...
koi Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Came across this on Everton - http://www.sos1878.co.uk/everton-fans/its-all-over-for-kenwright-and-moyes/? Interesting, there's no doubt that their finances are a car crash and I honestly struggle to see how they keep the door open. Difference between us and them is they have a top class manager whereas we have a gobs***e. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
roverandout Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 great win for chelsea, shows barca are only human!!
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 great win for chelsea, shows barca are only human!! It's only half time matey. Anybody think Chelsea will have as much luck in the 2nd leg ?
Kamy100 Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 It's only half time matey. Anybody think Chelsea will have as much luck in the 2nd leg ? Chelsea did fantastic tonight but if Barca had put their chances away then they could have scored 2 or 3. Will be a completely different games in Barcelona next week, it is a huge pitch and Chelsea will find it very hard to close down the space as effectively as they did today. Although Barca play Madrid on Saturday evening so will depend on how much that game takes out of their players.
philipl Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 OK. Just for fun. Chelsea win the Chaps League. Finish 5th So take Newcastle's 4th place qualification for the CL away from them. Lacrimose Geordies?
Kelbo Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 One thing I did see, Ibranovic lost the ball and really bust a gut to get it back, Ok it was a foul in the end but thats the mindset we need, we are as a team not set up nor organised correctly!!
Amo Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Di Matteo currently has a better win % than Guus Hiddink. The wheels will probably come off soon but he's doing a fine job so far. Can't hold a candle to Kean, of course.
koi Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Di Matteo currently has a better win % than Guus Hiddink. The wheels will probably come off soon but he's doing a fine job so far. Can't hold a candle to Kean, of course. From our point of view it's worrying that DiM is doing such a good job 'coz I was sure Roman was going to come in and offer us £10m to take Kean..
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 THIS takes the biscuit! ''However, the chances of Wigan becoming a self-sustaining Premier League club are severely limited by geography. They will forever struggle to fill the DW because of the enormous strength of the local competition across historic Lancashire, principally from the conurbations to east and west. The ground holds 26,000, but the crowd when Manchester City visited in January was 10,000 short of that. If you can't pull them in, whatever the weather, for a game against the league leaders then you are struggling.''
Mattyblue Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Wigan's problem is their ground is too big, their gates are no smaller than say Blackpool's were or Swansea or QPR now, there are just more empty seats. It's about perception- we have always had the same problem. They are a fantastic success story- from the Northern Premier to The Premier League, from 1700 crowds to 17000. Owned by a local lad (and former pro) done good. You are in the league you deserve to be there. However, the talksport brigade think they no better.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Its a pathetic rant tbh,you deserve it more because you can fill your ground..what skewed logic is that,so it looks better on telly? Mmmmmmm errrr Now then,I wonder why we get a bad press..............
Backroom Tom Posted April 20, 2012 Backroom Posted April 20, 2012 I thought Betty's son on corrie looked like bill kenwright I didn't realise it was him. Wonder if Balaji is after a role on the cobbles
perthblue02 Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I thought Betty's son on corrie looked like bill kenwright I didn't realise it was him. Wonder if Balaji is after a role on the cobbles Buys Dev's corner shop turns it into a poundsaver, and puts somebody with no shop management experience in to run it?
BRFC1995 Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Ched Evans JAILED for 5 years for rape. The fellas got to be wired very badly. He may be a league 1 footballer but he was a £3m signing earning god knows how much its not a hardship to lay off the drink or if a true professional not drink at all, i guess since he's guilty the jury heard stuff a bit darker than a depraved drunken boys night out.
Sparky Marky Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Wow you wouldnt think he'd need to do that. He could afford the very best hookers. Must be a maniac.
Baz Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I think he'll appeal and the decision will be overturned.
Majiball Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 And a big congratulations for Alan Smith (remember him?) on scoring his first goal in 5 years.
Backroom DE. Posted April 21, 2012 Backroom Posted April 21, 2012 How have spurs managed to become so utterly turd in the past month or so? 1 win in the last 8 prem games... awful form for a team supposedly aiming for Champions League football.
hesfromburn Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Was hoping Tottenham would put Qpr away, but they just look awful where Qpr really really want this. I hope Tottenham are even worse when we face them.
Commondore Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 And a big congratulations for Alan Smith (remember him?) on scoring his first goal in 5 years. For what club?
