hesfromburn Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Qpr are now looking like a propper Mark Hughes side 1 - 0 up Tottenham got most of the ball but they just dont have anywhere to go, and there a team that likes to counter but Qpr are not giving an inch and in effect playing them at their own game.

perthblue02 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Is it a rule of the Prem that QPR get a red card every game ?
hesfromburn Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Really want Tottenham to get at least a goal here!! Looking very doubtful. But will be a well earnt 3 points for Qpr, fantastic performance by them Tottenham need to learn some long ball haha, They have no Idea what to do if they cant counter at will.
Devon Rover Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Really want Tottenham to get at least a goal here!! Looking very doubtful. But will be a well earnt 3 points for Qpr, fantastic performance by them Like Wigan, QPR have pulled out some crucial and very impressive results against the 'big' teams. Unless we do the same against either Spurs or Chelsea we are going down. And I think we'll go.

broadsword Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 If Spurs beat us then we have to hope that one of Wigan or QPR fail to win any of their remaining 3. I wouldn't be confident of getting more than a point at White Hart Lane. So, I think the Spurs game it's either win it or go down.
perthblue02 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I think we will beat Wigan but that's it , and fear that's not going to be enough, oh a bonus Spurs game just finished on foxsports and now they are re-running Rovers v Norwich might as well make the most of it
broadsword Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Wigan's last game is at home to Wolves, QPR have got Stoke at home as one of their games. So I'd guess they'll both end with a minimum of 37 points. So we have 31 points, we need at least two wins, which means we need either 3 points away to Spurs or Chelsea. And that's on the assumption that we beat Wigan at home, which I think in all likelihood will be a draw. So I'd say we need to beat both Spurs and Chelsea to stay up.
Stuart Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I think we can beat Wigan, Bryan. But it will take an amazing run of form (and sequence of other teams' results) for us to stay up now. The Cockney Conspiracy this evening has probably put paid to our chances. But you never know, who would have put a bet on Wigan beating Man Utd and Arsenal back to back?
MarkBRFC Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Exactly, never rule it out. If you listened to the usual suspects on here we would be dead and buried tonight. I expect there will still be plenty of twists and turns in the next 3 weeks.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Watching Spuds on MOTD - can't possibly waste as many chances next Sunday - Gael needs to sort Bale!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 How the hell did Bolton not lose to Swansea?! Unbelievable!
Hughesy Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 How the hell did Bolton not lose to Swansea?! Unbelievable! Hate them, they get sooo much luck its unreal. Just got to hope that come next sunday, none of the teams around us have gained any more points.

cn174 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 4-4 what a game! It's always good to see Man U fans/players sulking.
gumboots Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 It's always good to see Man U fans/players sulking. But I really want to keep City from winning the League! I like it that there are only 4 names on it and ours is one of them.
Dunnfc Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Big games coming up which could really affect things... Stoke vs QPR massive if we get a point at spuds and a win vs wigan... Stoke look like theyve given up, and QPR have a Chelsea team who are playing midweek... as well as Man City away who could still be title chasing. If we get what we want at spurs and wigan then we have to hope newcastle beat wigan and we will be a point above going into the last day of the season. Where we will play chelsea away whilst wigan will play Wolves, already relegated. Bolton although two games in hand have Villa, and Sunderland, a Villa win and hopefully nothing at sunderland would see them on 36 games after our game against wigan where hopefully we would be on 35 pts, leaving bolton needing 6 points from a remaining three games if things go our way. Bolton's last three games to get 6 points from could be a given up for the season west brom on the last home game for them and a 4th place challenger in Spurs and on the last day a given up stoke. My view we need two wins to really stand a chance... do able but Spurs will come at us next week away at WHL. They want a 4th spot but Bale looks burnt out for the year.
BPF Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 COME ON THE VILLA!!! 32 Heskey drills in a low shot after a lovely turn on the edge of the Bolton box but Bogdan again gathers, albeit this time at the second attempt. Heskey missed....something isn't right.
A cup of beans Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Heskey missed....something isn't right. To be fair, he's played well tonight. As have Villa Completely battered Bolton. Warnock hit the bar and Nzogbia was unlucky with a beautiful freekick Worrying Bolton may smash and grab something
