Audax Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Lescott made a poor head pass and I believe Traore for QPR picked it up and drilled it in the goal, Stoke came back too last i know, 2-2 with Bolton, I thought Stoke City would come back, Bolton seems to have real bad bad luck.
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Hope someone finds a couple of million down the back of their sofa. The season that keeps on taking.
Majiball Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Hope someone finds a couple of million down the back of their sofa. The season that keeps on taking. It would have just disappeared anyway.
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Vincent Kompany seems like a good guy - but when he said City players didn't go there for the money, I had to laugh. I wonder how many of the red tops will run with "City buy title" at any point of the next... ever? I'm guessing none.
Shabani Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Alex Ferguson says Man City have bought the title. Cost of starting City team = £161m. Cost of starting United team = £169m
Amo Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 SEM sure do produce some gems, don't they? Not that it's Kean or Coyle's fault their teams got relegated. It's those awful fans and refereeing decisions, respectively.
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Alex Ferguson says Man City have bought the title. Cost of starting City team = £161m. Cost of starting United team = £169m Over what period? Ha! City have even wheeled Owen Hargreaves off - the only man with more cheek than Vince Grella. City were pretty cock-sure they'd win today, judging by their well-prepared celebrations. There's no denying the best team won on the day - but they very nearly didn't.

Josh Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 The look on Phil Jones' face when he finds out City have scored a last minute winner is priceless
Backroom DE. Posted May 13, 2012 Backroom Posted May 13, 2012 Nice to see Bolton coming down with us, particularly after "Coyley" bigging up "Stevie Kean" earlier in the season. Turns out you're both a bit ######, lads. As for City... whatever. Who cares. Good for them. City, United... hate 'em both.
Audax Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I certainly didn't mean Bolton goes down on bad luck, they deserve it, they haven't had any punch for most of the season. I can't believe Barton, I thought he changed, he did not just make the one red card offence, he carried on, kneed a player afterwards, how wreckless. A lot of players make a stupid play in an important game, best to just try and soak it up but that is not what he did. You really had to fear that that situation might have degenerated into something much worse.
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 You have to say that the 3 worst managers in the league have taken their teams down this season.
arbitro Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 How ironic that City won the league in stoppage (Fergie) time.
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 How ironic that City won the league in stoppage (Fergie) time. Nah, it was legit. Fergie time is those 2 minutes beyond stoppage time with RFW tapping his watch and glaring at the officials.
Backroom Tom Posted May 13, 2012 Backroom Posted May 13, 2012 I'm actually pleased for City suprisingly they are still a proper club with a lot of real fans who followed their team With 4 minutes left I knew the script and stuck the last fiver in my William Hill account on them to win, only £60 but its nice to win one! Oh and this reaction is priceless
BuckyRover Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Don't be so hard on Barton. He's exactly what we need. Just ask theno (he's never wrong)
Stuart Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Don't be so hard on Barton. He's exactly what we need. Just ask theno (he's never wrong) Well... QPR stayed up, Rovers were relegated...
Backroom Tom Posted May 13, 2012 Backroom Posted May 13, 2012 Barton is a disgrace: Joseph Barton @Joey7Barton Can do nothing but apologise to the players and the fans. Still don't think its a sending off. Tried to take 1 of their players with me.... Joseph Barton @Joey7Barton Still not my proudest moment but who gives a clumsy, hit shift + 8 again!!, we are safe..........and that is all that matters. Joseph Barton @Joey7Barton The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me... He thinks because they survived he'll get away with it, I hope he's forced out of QPR for what he did, as for admitting to 'try and take one with him' he will never change
BuckyRover Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Yes Stuart. He is the reason they stayed up and not Stoke equalising (or another million factors (e.g. Steve Kean?)). Hughes is not a mug. I'll be surprised if he plays for QPR again
