HemelRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 englands u21's are poor. no creativity whatsoever What a difference Wilshire would've made.
imy9 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Power and pace but not guile or skill in the final third- Junior or Wilshire in this team would make such a difference.
Stuart Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I'd love to know the total "value" of this team/squad. Must the most expensive - by some distance - and yet it's not good to watch.

Stuart Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Tells you something about the Premier League. Tells me a lot about the bloated finances. How there is still a premium for England internationals is beyond me. We should have just stopped having an England team after Euro '96...

We should have just stopped having an England team after Euro '96... Didn't we, mind you Wilcox should have been in that team instead of sicknote.
Amo Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Tells you something about the Premier League. Overpriced and overrated.
HemelRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Our back 4 look good though. Can see all of them making the step up to the seniors within a few years.
HemelRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Dont know what it is about Wellbeck. He doesnt look like a footballer, looks far too Bambi on Ice crossed with Usain Bolt. But he does like to score goals. I dont know how.
BuckyRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 According to 5live we have scouts at this game. Anyone impressed?
Roverdale Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 According to 5live we have scouts at this game. Anyone impressed? Scott Sinclair
HemelRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 According to 5live we have scouts at this game. Anyone impressed? Kyle Walker at RB. Smalling & Jones solid. See my comment above re Wellbeck(Better than whatever we have up top though).
Tim Southampton Rover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 That was ###### poor. ###### like our national team.
Josh Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Shocking attacking play from England throughout the tournament
bastionRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I'm sure I read somewhere that the combined cost of this squad was something like 250+ million! You have to be f-ing joking
Inta Beaver Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Why does Stuart Pearce find the need to spit everytime he stands up by the touchline? The bloke has got no class.
Stuart Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Not just elimination but humiliation - given the supposed gulf in quality. It's no wonder the rest of Europe thinks we're arrogant. I just don't think any of the players out there really cared. Just think an injury might affect their PL availability...
HemelRover Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Why does Stuart Pearce find the need to spit everytime he stands up by the touchline? The bloke has got no class. Of the long list of things that Psycho can be critised for, thats fairly low down on it.
imy9 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 English pl players struggle in Europe because their basic technique is not good enough, a few exceptions like Wilshire but he is a rare one. Good on the Czech, tiny country, players that are not well known around Europe but showed more hunger, desire and skill than the English.
EWOODACE1 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 honestly i was looking forward to watching england in this championship but i turned them off to watch the golf. was like watching paint dry
