Robbo is the only candidate I can see. Nelsen and Salgado will be missing games next season and there isn't many other standout leaders in the side.

It won't be ideal with the whole conduct towards ref's sitatuion where the captain is now usually the one to speak to a ref if there is a problem or issue on the pitch but he is probably the best choice.

Should absolutely be Nelsen. He'll not play every game, but whenever he is on the pitch he should wear the armband. Robbo should be the vice-captain, Salgado if we wanted an outfield player.

The problem with Nelson and Salgado is that they wont be playing every game.

I'm not sure about Robbo either, like others have said not great having your keeper as captain.

I'd suggest someone like Nzonzi but you don't know how much game time he'll get either....if he could recapture his 1st season form I'd be happy for him to have it.

Roberts will probably go on the charm offensive on twitter and get it though.....

Nelsen is probably the obvious one, however I think if (when??) Samba leaves, we should get in RogerJohnson or Matt Mills - either one would make a good captain too...
