Roverdale Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Looks as though Alan Shearer is about to be named Cardiff manager. What do we think? Disaster or his chance? If nothing else I'm pretty sure Bellamy won't be returning there after all!

ABBEY Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 where have you heard that dale? ive not seen/heard anything?
Mattyblue Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Will be a disaster of epic proportions. I just can't see him getting to grips with the Championship at all. He struggles to decipher PL matches. * Disclaimer, still the greatest centre forward I have ever seen.
chocky Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 where have you heard that dale? ive not seen/heard anything? S.S.N. now...

If nothing else I'm pretty sure Bellamy won't be returning there after all! No money to spend, best players leaving or already left. Would be amazed if he went there. Big money been going on him for ccfc job all day apparently! Certain people had Rafa coming to Rovers.
rebelmswar Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Certain people had Rafa coming to Rovers. Some people still do.
BangkokRover Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Some people still do. And some people started a thread about this

Amo Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Nooooo! Shearer should come here! He was a great player - and we all know great players make great managers, even ones who get their home club relegated and sit gormlessly on MOTD spouting one trite remark after another.
pick32 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Great player awful manager. Just have to watch his MOTD analysis. Still wish he can get Cardiff promoted aslong as Swansea go down. We cant have to welsh teams in the premier league.

We cant have to welsh teams in the premier league. Zero chance of any Welsh teams in the EPL in the 2012/13 season.
rebelmswar Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Can you imagine the half time team talk? "The game is called football. Need the ball in the back of the net. Not ours though, hu hu hu. The ball is round, also known as a sphere. If we score more than the other team we win. Winning is good." Exit Alan Cardif players miss kick off due to an inability to awaken. Game abandoned. Cardif relegated with zero points.

We need these guys around to explain why Rovers is a special club.
Herbie6590 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 There's nothing I've seen in his TV punditry that leads me to suggest that he has what it takes.......[file this post now & play it back to me next April when Cardiff win promotion with 102 points... ]

I particularly enjoyed all the flag waving and celebrating after beating Boro in his only win as Newcastle manager. Premature Celebration Personally I dont think he has the brain or desire to suceed as a manager.
chaddyrovers Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Shearer is the new manager of Cardiff according to Alan Nixon. bring in Tommy Craig as his number 2. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Alan-Shearer-Cardiff-Newcastle-legend-accepts-surprise-offer-to-become-new-Bluebirds-boss-article747021.html
