One thing confuses me though.. surely its either Rondon or Leandro not both.. if thats right then adding up Nickos figures isnt that less than 40m?

One of Nicko originally said....although if we landed the 1st lad from Spain, but found out they could get a Brazilian on the books, I wouldnt rule out Venkys doing both.

If nicko is the one that has wrote the article then there is no doubt we will be in talks with the clubs, he doesnt tend to link us with players that are not on our wish list.

Sounds like we have approached the clubs for prices and whatnot.. given meetings last week we are probably a little way down the path with a couple of them.

Still early days yet, they could refuse personal terms or simply choose to go elsewhere..

Sad not to see us looking at Kranjcar mind, do not understand why he is so ignored atm by all clubs. Guessing Diarra would also be looked at as we will be looking for an alternative DM should we fail on JJ.

If keane is a replacement for Roberts/benjani/rsc then that can only be a good thing, Defoe/pav would be a better option but heyho, get cisse, jones and piati in then it's gonna make us a lot stronger, keep big Chris and get Miranda in then it's happy days, get your season ticket renewed/bought, you know it makes sense!

formica played on the LW for argentina the other week, not sure if thats his prefered position.

Should be the priority before any anything else, last thing we want is to lose junior and fork out to replace him, give him a decent contract, put it to bed and move on upwards
