Just reading between the lines alot and guessing, it seems one or more of nicko and kamys sources have been fired by the club in the last few days.

It rather obvious the club have not given Kean 40 million and said 'there you go, spend away'. Every move must go through and be approved by a number of different people. Slowing us down to a crawl. It does not mean we won't spend money, just that this is going to to take alot of time.

Sadly I see the trolls have started reappearing from under their bridges on this thread again.

Right! Had enough.

I sincerely wish I hadn't renewed my season ticket now. We get nothing but bullshite and no action from Rovers and I've had my fill. ###### off Venkys and take your bald parrot with you.

Funny you should say that just then Al; I was just considering doing the same thing. If I can get a full refund on my £170 paid up front I can then take another one at Dunfermline in a similar seat for just £2 more and save myself around £60 per match in travelling and subsistence costs. The Pars have just got themselves promoted to the SPL as well and have already signed 3 players that will definitely improve their squad.

I know everyone can't believe that we haven't signed anyone and I'm the same but I believe we will in the next few weeks. The real worry is why are some players still owned by Arsenal?! Why are we still paying there wages!

its simple .the club is ruderless.

Just found this on an Arsenal maesage board so we really ae not the only ones.

WTF?

So much rumour and supposition being circulated.

What is certain is that even if only part of it is true, the destabilising effect on the club could be immense.

IMO, we really are a rudderless ship and how the stability and expertise that Messrs Williams, Finn and Allardyce brought are sorely being missed.

To those advocating a wait and see approach, the writing has been on the wall for at least six months and actions of the last six months or so don't suggest that things will suddenly improve for the better.

With things as they seem to be, we will be fortunate to keep the likes of Robbo, Samba, Hoilett, Olsson etc. Goodness knows who our signings will be.

Panic, no, drama queen, no, realist, yes.

I love how people have decided not to renew season tickets and that the club is completely doomed because of what ? we were supposed to spend money this week and by Tuesday lunch-time we have not spent 20 million yet.

The amount of craziness by some people atm is hilarious to watch.

Exactly, well said mate!

Reserve judgement till the close of the transfer window.

Everybody looked to this Transfer Window as pivotal to our future. We went into it with a lot of optimism and goodwill towards the owners---stayed up, good gestures to travelling support for last game, season ticket prices, stood up to Manure etc.

Is it all going to waste? Are the owners going to make a laughing stock of us again?

We can be patient till Sept 1 but we have a weak squad. It was weak last season and we just stayed up. Right now its weaker. We've lost Jones and will lose Samba I'm sure. Those 2 and Robbo/Hoilett kept us up--and we aren't guaranteed to keep any of them!

So unless we buy the right players and hit the ground running for the start of the new campaign we will go down.

The latest rumours are very worrying – and unexpected.

I firmly believed that the post-takeover/Sam sacking cloud that hung over us for the second half of last season had disappeared when we guaranteed our safety at Wolves and was looking forward to a brighter future with some stability.

But the issues that Nicko and other have alluded to this morning clearly show that we haven't moved forward at all and it's likely that we're due to be the laughing stock off the footballing world yet again – if the rumours come out.

If this is the case, how the hell are we supposed to keep hold of people like Hoilett and Samba and attract fresh faces that will ultimately take us to the next level? I wouldn't want to go anywhere near Rovers with the constant uncertainty.

And if we are going to be getting rid of some backroom staff that are seen as being 'part of the old regime' why on earth didn't we make our changes the day after the Wolves game?

Common sense is something that appears to be in short supply up at Ewood and in Pune!

A lot of complaints here are mere speculation.

We THINK the Venkys are screwing things up but none of us are the backroom staff so we don't know for sure just what exactly is going on.

Sure, Nicko (Alan Nixon) and Kamy alluded that things are not going well at the moment, but they have not told us precisely what the problem is. But then I start seeing wails and cries for Venkys out, Venkys and Kean being laughing stock, Holliet and Samba leaving, etc.

It's just like the Warner issue. Before Nicko cleared it up by telling us he was coming as a goalkeeping COACH and not a goalkeeper, people jumped to conclusions and began complaining about how hiring Warner even as a third-choice goalkeeper was stupid, and how Blackburn Rovers was reduced from chasing Cisse and Piatti to Keane and Warner.

Bottom line: don't jump to conclusions just yet and moan about how Blackburn is going to get relegated, how no players are coming to our club, how other clubs are going to snatch our targets away, how we're going to lose our players when it's only 28th June. Like someone once said, the earliest we signed a player in previous windows was 29th June for Lars Jacobsen. And that's the earliest, mind you, not the deadline. We still have the whole of July. While I will not deny that the earlier we get players signed the better, I think it's still premature to complain just because we haven't signed any players yet!

For all we know the problem could be red tape, or miscommunication or the bank accidentally jammed the transcripts while the Venkys were withdrawing their money for transfer funds (that's just an example).

So let's calm down and wait patiently instead of whining and moaning. :D Cheer up. Always look on the bright side of life!

Of course to be balanced, I would say do not celebrate or pop the cork just because we're linked to Cisse or other players. Wait until the signing is confirmed before going haywire with your celebrations.

This time we know for sure that at the time of writing, the wheels have well and truly come off at Rovers.

I'm not one for getting on your back phil, but you really have to back these claims up or all hell is going to break loose on here.

This message board is a manic depressives playground...

First news - Money to spend... "yeah - weve got £50m" to spend

Manics reaction... "We'll only waste it"

Second news - Transfer List - Good names on list

Manics reaction..."They'll never come to us... Kean/Kentaro/SEM/VEnkys/JA/ LT dont have a clue"

More news...Professional Goalkeepr being signed

Manics reaction..."37 years old - we are rubbish, no-one likes us, is this the best we can do?"

This cycle is going to carry on:

- Accept the fact that we have money (Kamy and Nicko and just about everyone else who seems to be in "the know" confirms this.

- Accept the fact that Venkys actually want us to do well and not be crap

- We will sign someone - it can just take time. Have patience.

I quite like people who are consistent. If you hate Venky's, Kean or whoever - fine. Just keep the same tune.

Me - I've always disliked Ince,Keith and Kean.

No, we don't know for sure.

Perhaps you are right, but for all we know the slight delay was caused by a minor miscommunication or even bird flu or visa applications.

In fact, we don't know if it's a "delay" or a total rejection of Kean's bidding for Cisse and friends.

All we know is that something bad has happened, there is a delay, BUT we don't know if it's the management's fault, the Venkys's fault, the agents' fault, the players' fault or whatever. We are just speculating and most of our assumptions point fingers at the Venkys and make them the scapegoats.

While I will not completely deny that the Venkys could be the ones at fault here, I will also say there's a possibility our speculations are wildly off the mark.

I'd like to point out, to anyone that will listen, that most (if not all) of these transfer rumors have come from journalists. I have not seen any direct quotes from either Kean or Venky's discussing potential targets and I definitely haven't seen them deny or admit to any of them.

Kean has only talked about bringing Jones, Diouf and Santa Cruz back.

I urge people to stay level-headed and not get caught up in the media hype.

Stop using rumour as a basis of your pathetic attempts to cause panic on the MB. Everytime an unsubstantial rumour appears you're all over it and make your smug claims that the club is alling apart. You've been making these claims since Venkys took over and hey guess what. Blackburn Rovers is still standing. So unless you can post proof to these claims put up or shut up.

Btw hows your loaded mate Syed doing?

  • Backroom

My guess on what is happening would be far less dramatic than some claims currently coming out on here.

I think simply, that there isn't a single person whom the buck stops with. Instead there are many people involved, all of which have their own opinions.

Mrs Desai may have been where the buck stopped in many matters in the past, but I'm assuming in terms of transfers she's taking a lesser role, leaving the brothers, Kean, Kentaro and others to argue about who we should be bidding for.

Speculative scenario entirely. If it is true in any sense though, a specific process needs to be adopted very quickly so that we can lock onto some targets.

It all seemed to be going so well last week!
