Bad guess, try again.

this is just pathetic

phillip last week when it looked like venkys was doing well you went all quiet, now there is a hint they are failing your back on the bandwagon dropping hints causing mass hysteria.

you coming out with these stupid comments are clogging up the board with people going down the wrong line and speculating over your little jibes.

yes the hysteria could be justified. But ffs either spill or shut up because your just winding everyone up and starting rumours which get carried away

This time we know for sure that at the time of writing, the wheels have well and truly come off at Rovers.

Don't panic... just looked outside... the sky has not fallen in.

Firstly let me say that I think Nicko's contribution to this website is fantastic and long may it continue.

However as average fans the insight we have into the inner workings of our club is almost unique and therein lies a problem.

Who is to say every regime at every club doesn't go through this to-ing and fro-ing and difference of opinion? Perhaps if we had inside knowledge of the workings at Old Trafford we would hear about the infighting and embarrassment over the poor handling of the Phil Jones transfer for example?

I accept Venkys are still learning and have set themselves up for criticism with some of their appointments and structuring but surely the end result is what matters not the process?

Most plcs would be embarrassed to reveal some of the process flows that led to majorly successful business decisions I am prepared to bet but their stakeholders do not have the same passion as football fans do whether their own money is at stake or not.

Just imagine if we had both the inside knowledge and the online forum to discuss the botched Roy Keane transfer a few years back, or when Shearer left?

Not saying that what is happening now is good but I think we need some perspective here. Judge the finished product not the work in progress.

Why can you not share what you know with the board? (serious question)

Its frustrating posts like this that cause all the mass hysteria on the boards. You half tell us something is wrong, but you wont say what it is. Then the whole place goes into meltdown.

Then everyone starts bitching at each other as we all claim the sky is falling down.

Maybe Philip wasn't getting carried away last week, like so many on here were?

So we haven't signed anyone yet?

Oh well back to doing normal things and not worrying about this for another few weeks.

I will not be getting a season ticket next season. Not because I am fickle and base my loyalty to the club on who we sign in a summer, but because I have work commitments.

Not yet.

I will have to run it by the committee, who will take a view, pass it back, come up with some other ideas, have a think about it, perhaps make a small bid, try to get the wages down, spend all time working out where the moles are, perhaps sack a few, wonder why we did that and then have tea.

Nicko so who exactly is steering BRFC ?.Did Kean tell Venkys and Kentaro who he wanted and now they do not like his ideas because of wages ?.What happened to the "Kean is our man" decision if they do not back him up now.

IMO you cannot run a football club like this.

neither was i , so i never posted about it. fair enough, however the day it all gets turned around why come on gloating about it and posting half messages with hints of problems, causing mass hysteria on the board, causing rumours and theory's which aren't true, then encouraging people to keep coming up with these untrue theory's by urging them to "guess again". he knows what he is doing and its pathetic

he wants to either put it out here if he knows something, or shut up and stop this nonsense

What is the point in anybody writing posts that are, wanting a better word, anti venky, anti Kean. There have been posters doing so for awhile. They have raised concerns and said things are not that well within the club.

But all these posters received was abuse, told that they were negative, have an agenda etc etc. Which left them with no choice but to sit back and watch. May even have resisted saying, 'we told you so'. But sometimes people do hear things, yet cannot go into detail to protect the source of the information. But can only give hints. People have a choice believe or not the hints being given. But i suggest it is better to wonder if these posters are right and not totally dismiss everything said.

This week I was away from my computer - but was able via my phone to read the transfer gossip - but not able to comment on it. But I cringed when this name and that name was 'linked'. I came to the conclusion that with there being so many names on the list (A list) then there was another list (B list) it was all a publicity scam for venkys.

It appears that the two brothers and Mrs D have got different ideas, motives that all they are doing is confusing themselves. They do not seem to realise that agents are only interested in themselves and their clients (players). But the clubs, they do not care about. Neither do they care about owners. But the result is the same, fans get lied to and taken the pi'' out of.

Last week I started to wonder if venkys had at last got their act together. But it appears my brief confidence in them has gone again. I want venkys to sell up an new owner and manager in place. Because I have no confidence in the current situation. Again I say to venkys, prove me wrong, show us all why we should have confidence that they are able to run this club properly. At the moment there is nothing.

Rafa has signed?

My guess on what is happening would be far less dramatic than some claims currently coming out on here.

I think simply, that there isn't a single person whom the buck stops with. Instead there are many people involved, all of which have their own opinions.

Mrs Desai may have been where the buck stopped in many matters in the past, but I'm assuming in terms of transfers she's taking a lesser role, leaving the brothers, Kean, Kentaro and others to argue about who we should be bidding for.

Speculative scenario entirely. If it is true in any sense though, a specific process needs to be adopted very quickly so that we can lock onto some targets.

It all seemed to be going so well last week!

So as was said earlier this morning to many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

Because he cannot. It is called protecting the source of the information. Look I have no inside knowledge of the club. But as things stand I do not need to have any - it is obvious things are not right.

to further add to your post pafell, allowing or telling john williams to walk out the door has to be one of thee most half-witted things that they have allowed to happen. i know we have all had our say on that particular topic, but a chairperson to the ilk of our JW...would be probably the best thing for everyone to do with rovers.

Where is it obvious?

The sky is falling again...

...meanwhile, life goes on and so does a fairly quiet transfer window.

My initial thoughts were that the club had tried to prevent Nicko & BRFCS from bringing stories to air - an injunction - if that's the correct legal term

but IF - and it's a big if - but IF somebody has been sacked at Ewood (Nicko & Kamys source?) for leaking news then I would understand Nicko & Kamy's reaction - consternation, dismay and a touch of anger.

This is me drawing my own conclusions here, but if this 'leaking source'is true then it would seem inevitable that ultimately there would have to be disciplinary action. We're talking multi million pound deals here & confidentiality has got to be maintained.

Another big IF, but if a person has been sacked then it's understandable that Nicko and Kamy may feel this way on 2 counts

i) A good source has disappeared

ii) By pursuing the source Nicko & Kamy may well have unwittingly brought about the sacking

Is it possible that a fans messageboard has the ability to devastate peoples livelihoods & reputations?

If so then we forum members are also at fault with our relentless thirst for more 'inside info'

I hope I'm wrong on this, but just sharing my thoughts.

This is their business and their other businesses depend upon this one being a success.

If, as many people speculate, all of this is being done to create negative propaganda and that they're just going to constantly make noises without signing anyone, then they're bigger idiots than I ever thought possible for people that own a £multi-million/billion (who knows) empire.

Their future success depends upon their integrity and honesty even if they are using Rovers for advertising their name.

Have some faith and give them some credit. They are business people. Lose face and respect in business and you're nothing. They know this. Stop seeing rumour as fact, be patient and use your own thinker and what common sense you have.

My interpretation is that it's a bit like setting your girlfriend up playing Football Manager - the "outsider" view on how to spend transfer money will be "why should I sign Cisse when I could buy Drogba?", with no understanding of how unlikely the latter is.

Just reading between the lines alot and guessing, it seems one or more of nicko and kamys sources have been fired by the club in the last few days.

I highly doubt it. All clubs leak information, just human nature.

I love how people have decided not to renew season tickets and that the club is completely doomed because of what ? we were supposed to spend money this week and by Tuesday lunch-time we have not spent 20 million yet.

It will be the final straw for some people. We've seen it all before! The clubs not doomed but signings need to be in place to give them the preseason to fit into the team.

But he does get carried away in the opposite direction

Well........ Hmmm.

If you look at his [and others posters too] general direction since Allardyce was sacked, it's difficult to say he backed the wrong horse. He thought that was a bad move and he thought Venky's were making big mistakes.

[not really wanting to open all this up again].
