For some reason I wouldn't be surprised to see us go for one of the Scottish WBA lads, Morrison or Dorrans maybe.

I have no idea why I think that though, has Kean worked with either before?

We were briefly linked with Dorrans by Nicko in January weren't we? Would be a decent shout.

these names people are endlessly quoting is getting me well excited... or not

I think you are mistaking this for a marquee signing.

What we are talking about here (whether we are correct or not) is a solid, in terms of either technique or physical presence, central midfielder who will do a good job for us and (according to one poster) with proven Premier League experience. If you understand how football works you will be excited that we are trying to land a player like this, amongst other targets.

I'm not mistaking it with anything. I just think we can do better than some of the names mention. i,e Ben Watson amongst others

Ben Watson is a good player. Very steady. Just what we need. The commitment of Andrews without the stigma and much better technique on the ball. I'll get shot down for saying it, but you need players like that in your team.

No, the one who finished the season with a bang, finding his feet and running some of their games.

so cos some1s been on loan and not deemed good enough by 1 club.. due to a manager preference... we shouldnt be interested ??

he's a good player and would improve us.. good energy, gets stuck in, good at set pieces too.

"he's a good good player.. hardly mentioned" to me sounds like an unsung hero or a player at an unfashionable club.

I asked Nicko and he told me, he's the one with the players name

Nicko / hughesy - how about Anderson ? may fit with teh Brazilian connection and an existing prem player...............
