over the last couple of years, tim vickery.. on the excellent 'world football phone-in on 5live podcast' has been consistant in saying that fergie has ruined anderson, by turning him into a defensive midfielder.

according to vickery, he was a dynamic attacking winger in his days in brazil.. then was moved centrally by porto.. and was unplayable at times.

i'd love him at ewood.. but wont hold out much hope!

To be fair there's only Nicko that knows or claims to know what he's talking about. Hughesy did his thing and PMed Nicko for info but apparently was told he is a premier league player but no name.

VAUGHAN...free...absolutely no Rovers contact.

Nobody has stabbed at the name yet - and I have yet to get an update to see how live this one is. Thought somebody might have had the same name...

I wouldn't be surprise if it is Joey Barton from Newcastle or Nigel Reo-Coker.

I would take Barton at Rovers. Would be a leader in the centre midfield to replace J Jones if we can't sign him or sign both and play Barton on the right winger with Hoilett in the hole.

He is supposed to be a free agent. But I think he has had a lot of injuries. Does anyone know how fit he is?

We'd be better off with Maxi Rodriguez but I don't think we'd have a cat in hells chance of getting him.

My stab in the dark regarding the midfielder is Lucas Leiva if Lpool sign Adam.

So quite simply I haven't a clue!
