The summary link needs someone who religiously reads every post in this thread and we've now got Wen Y Hu spending his spare time on other stuff (mainly looking after our news) and the mods have a hard enough time modding to worry about reading every post and copyinging, pasting and reformatting the occasional useful bit.

A bit OT but, anyway...

Is it possible to make a small code that dumps for example a copy of all of nickos post into a single tread?

I'm no programmer but I think it's possible. If it's easy to do is another question.

Yes.

In fact there is an easy way to do it already.

But I feel it generally detracts from the rest of the site (as good as Nicko is, I'd hate to think anyone was ONLY reading his posts).

Ahh...ok - wish I could help but don't have the time. Still - the changes sorta makes up for noe having a summary. Good work! :rover:

That's part of the problem. The people who see the value in it, by definition, don't have the time to do it. Those that have the time, would never see it's use.

Glenn - one other idea (nicked off another site) - in the thread name, can we put the players position?

I know its nothing major but when random russians or whatever get links - its easier if at the end it just say (RB) or something similar.

Deffinatley the best way!

Can't help feeling optimistic tho with all the rumours of 50 million floating around!

Suppose gotta take it day by day!

Quick question- I know its in the wrong theard..apologies!

I am going to buy a season ticket this year for me and my girlfriend, we have been going to Ewood park for the last 5 years, we go to around 10 home games a season but wanna make it a regular thing now. What is the best stand to buy a season ticket in? I want to be where the 'atmosphere' is...if thats what we can call it lol?

Any suggestions would be helpful :)

If you want atmosphere then the Blackburn end

I used to SIT in the Blackburn end since I was a kid but it has to be said it's on it's backside now. The darwen end made going worth while last season at times. Banter with the away fans is always interesting. Something needs to change with the Bburn end support though as it's fast becoming the new Riverside. Anyway this discussion belongs elsewhere.... Back to it... Vagner Love please!

Four hours since I last looked and no new signings apparently but the owners have secured the services of Benjani for another season.

wtf.jpg.

Very sensible im my opinion. He will sit on the bench, cause no fuss and will do an okay job for the team when called upon.

Also, you need to separate the owners and the manager. Kean wanted him to stay for an extra season as do most if not all the players.

NOOOOO! Be interesting who he chooses if both sides match the valuation.

I remember Jones was recently quoted in the press as saying: "I will be going back to Schalke but my agent knows what I want".

That, to me, sounds very much like he wants out of Germany. You would have thought that we'd be his preferred destination but the fact that his agent is meeting Roma suggests to me that we've been slow at making any formal kind of approach for him.

I hope to Christ we don't miss the boat with him.

He was a huge factor in us staying up.

Juve have just signed 4 players including 2 strikers for 35 million. So vucinic is probably not going to go there now. So we could be in with a bigger shout than previously thought! I hope so. Would be a major coup for us and also attract other quality players down to ewood

On the other hand we have to pay the right price for him. It appears as though Schalke have been asking too much and we are waiting for a proper price, nothing wrong with that and it doesn't make us slow.

They were all Juve players last season though as they were on loan there.

Yeah i know but maybe they were thinking of signing vucinic isntead of taking up the options to buy the loan players outright. Either way i think it gives up more hope of snagging him
