As a squad player I personally can't see the issue with Benjani, low wages, not a disruptive influence and will chip in with the odd goal!

Granted, I'd like our first choice strikers to be less injury prone, and a bit more youthful!

So we give the big clubs our home end. Except for a brief period of building work the BB end has been the home end since the 70's

bloody hell yes I know blackburn end is the official home end chill people. Just saying darwen end has more to offer in terms of atmosphere and yes might have a few young chavs within there but they cause no trouble an usually are just there to have a good day and yes granted get ######.

It also funny most people I know have decided to leave bbun end an riverside and convert to darren end, it's sold out I believe.

Agreed, he'll be fine in early cup games and a few games in the season. He only needs this season so he can qualify for residency, I'd prefer him in many ways to Roberts at least. We need as many players between Roberts and playing time as we can get.

How dare you. Benjani's re-signing has made my summer.

In fairness, we are only formally into the 2nd day of Summer, and/or, you have low expectations, a quick pant glance confirms I'm largely unexcited about Benjani returning, I shall review that statement if plays more games like he did against Liverpool.

Can we get the Benjani thing straight...

He was talking to TWO clubs close to London at the start of the week.

Neither could match his terms - or wanted to.

The stuff in the local paper today is just a player hoping he still has a chance of staying at Rovers.

The only deal he would get at Rovers is a very low basic...and I am not even sure that is on the table.

He wants more money and he wants another year in England to gain his passport.

Don't stress about that situation.

Patience may be rewarded when it comes to bigger matters...
