What is with your sig and the NET transfer spend??

Surely it isn't how much we spend that anyone should be caring about it's who we sign?

I'd be much happier to sign some class players rather than spend £50m just to keep people happy?

There are a lot of big money signings that turn out to be naff and a lot of bargains that turn out to be class.. having a NET spend is just stupid.

Spend £50m and get top 6 BRILLIANT, spend £50m for the sake of it pointless.

Spend £20m and achieve the same then what's your NET spend going to prove?

Your signiture is proof that some people just want to find glory in our owner's perceived failings.

You wouldn't have that sig if we had already spent money, it won't (well it might now I've brought it up) be there if we do end up spending money and it is only there to be negative about our owners.

You're like the proverbial stuck record...too busy getting a hard on about 'net spend' to allow yourself to get even remotely excited about what promises to be the busiest transfer window for Rovers in several years.

I didn't realise your sig had to "say something", I stupidly thought it would be helpful to have a constant reminder in my sig of the players we've bought and sold and how much for each through this window, you know because it's interesting.

Well, no. The story goes that there was someone live-tweeting as the air-raid was happening. He found out after it had finished that the US Army had been acting on intel' that Bin Laden was hiding there.

I'm actually not just talking about him. I read that even the frickin wrestler The Rock tweeted it before any US news corp announced it (in fairness, probably because they were bothering to check their sources), and that he wasn't the first celeb to do it either. Not that I've researched whether this is true myself, and this is getting a bit off topic. Just saying, you can't assume it's wrong because Twitter had it first (not that you can assume it's right either). Sometimes people hear things and blab about them before everything is conducted through more official channels. Nicko is kinda an example of this too, albeit more reliable...

It's the fact that you emphasise NET spend.. that's what makes it seem like some stupid political statement. If it was just a list of players I wouldn't have thought anything of it.

alot of people are reporting that we are going to be signing Papiss Cisse and it is announce tomorrow so we are just going have to wait and see.

As I have said before PC reminds me of Darren Bent alot but with abit more skill than bent. I hope we sign him but we still need another striker.
