Bare in mind people may have seen there is a press conference tomorrow and getting excited but isn't the new coach being announced officially then?

David Lowe has been announce today on the rovers website.

About 10 people are all saying the same about us signing Papiss Cisse on facebook.

I remember when Hughes was linked with the Man City job on the sunday in the sunday people and Man City approach Rovers on the Sunday night and the next day the LT reporting we were set to sign Michael Kightly from Wolves.

also, who was this mystery striker that the LT said rovers was interest in last summer? they never told us who that was?

to all of the newer posters around, if you stick around here long enough you will find that there are plenty of bits of information that come up here before they are anywhere else. You will be hard pressed to find a better source of information for Rovers signings anywhere on the web, and it's a credit to Glenn and the mods, as well as Nicko and all the others 'insider' sources. It's also worth bearing in mind that patience is a virtue, and that Rome wasn't built in a day. And I've just hit my cliche post limit.

Very new here so i have no idea how reputable posters on here are. I guess i will find out by the end of this window and how reliable peoples rumours were

I'd say you should look out for posts from Kamy100, Vintageadidas, Unleaded and BPF. They seem to be the most accurate.

However, none of them mentioned our imminent signing of Robinho!!! ;)

I think that was me who announced Bellamy. Saw him drive out of Ewood, when he wound his window down and told us kids on the street he had signed

It was announced earlier than that by a female poster (name escapes me) who's husband had been at the do where Sparky talked him into it, if I recall correctly. Very exciting at the time.

As Billy mentioned above, watch out for Kamy100 (or Northern Rover if you have Twitter) as he's been heavily involved with the site, as well as vintageadidas and unleaded. Another good one is Roberto Policano, who is an Italian football journalist.

I love the smell of plagiarism in the morning. You know, one day Nixon came on here and laid out three power stories. Chaddy wasn't anywhere to be seen. Its that smell that hot mouse smell, it smells like... victory. Some day this windows gonna end.
