BiggusLaddus Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Andy Cryer on talksport: http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/kickoff/blog/2011-06-23/cryer-its-going-be-crazy-summer-blackburn- rovers For the benefit of those amongst us who have just realised our soundcards are broken; any chance of a summary?
nicko Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 The signing is a new player. From outside. Quite interesting. I will leave it at that for fear of the Verbal Police coming to arrest me. Not Benjani. Benjani could sign a low-wage contract at Rovers that has been on the table for a month. However he has been talking to two Southern clubs and is seeking THREE times that wage in the past few days. His quotes suggest to me he is keeping the door open to the low wage at Rovers. He will only do that if he can't get more elsewhere. On the appointment behind the scenes...that is not Lowe...it is an administration appointment...should be done next week...all agreed. Cisse? Has NOT been here. But watch this space. Kean? Has been in London. So don't know who was at Stanley hotel. Porkies in certain quarters? If you pull the old tiger's tail too often he will bite your head off.

chaddyrovers Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 andy cryer on talksport said that rovers were looking at Papiss Cisse.
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Porkies in certain quarters? If you pull the old tiger's tail too often he will bite your head off. Aye. And you keep putting the steak under our noses then taking it away with all this...
nicko Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I love the smell of plagiarism in the morning. You know, one day Nixon came on here and laid out three power stories. Chaddy wasn't anywhere to be seen. Its that smell that hot mouse smell, it smells like... victory. Some day this windows gonna end. You are truly barking. But I like you.
texasrover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I love the smell of plagiarism in the morning. How is re-posting something from a forum plagiarism?! I just quoted your post right here. It's a forum.

BRFC_Pilkz Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 andy cryer on talksport did mention that rovers was looking at Papiss Cisse. He also said Roberts was a good option to have

Is the administration person British? and is he well known?
rebelmswar Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 andy cryer on talksport did mention that rovers was looking at Papiss Cisse. Could you please rewrite that, or perhaps just explain it. "Was" as in not anymore, or "was" as currently?
nicko Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Is that all you are going to give us,is the player in the mirror tomorrow?or do we have to wait even longer. The current striker target will be. And hopefully the signed player. But after yesterday's Russian 'experience' I am not counting any chickens that the right tales and details are in.
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 He also said Roberts was a good option to have Over Santa Cruz... which I agree with.

BRFC_Pilkz Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Over Santa Cruz... which I agree with. Yes Santa Cruz has past it he spent more time injured than playing i think Benjani is better than Roberts.
chaddyrovers Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Could you please rewrite that, or perhaps just explain it. "Was" as in not anymore, or "was" as currently? were looking at PC. sorry about me typing the wrong word in.

Get the feeling you don't think the signed player is a big deal but thank you for replying.

BRFC_Pilkz Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Would anyone want a new LB and push Olsson up to LM i prefer him attacking than defending?
MarkBRFC Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 im guessing the signing is a very low profile one, and that none of us will have ever heard of him.
trs Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I'd say you should look out for posts from Kamy100, Vintageadidas, Unleaded and BPF. They seem to be the most accurate. However, none of them mentioned our imminent signing of Robinho!!! I would add Hi Mack to that list if he doesn't mind me saying!
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Would anyone want a new LB and push Olsson up to LM i prefer him attacking than defending? Yup, however I'd prefer a wing-back with good defensive qualities over an out-and-out LB.
